since everybody has been talking about best car this and fast car that, which car is the weakest, sorryest car you've tried....
my pic would half to be the miata (bad handling), i'd rather spend money on the trueno gts.

Weakest car: The Mini. I look at it and ask, Why do I own this car? well next to the Pink VItz...

OK, I don't really believe that. I just thought I'd raise the hair on the back of some Viper addicts' necks for a quick second.

I actually like the Miata, and think it's the best first car. At least I found it to be that for me.

I don't care for the PT Cruiser, though, or the Vitz. Anyway, there seem to be a few "doormat" cars in each car class, at least as far as how the AI drives them. I mean, has anyone ever been the least bit challenged by the Pennzoil GT-R in JGTC class races?

But the Vitz has a purpose - the Vitz Challenges, at pro level one of the toughest races you'll get.

My vote: BMW 328i. OK so the M3 was licenced elsewhere so PD couldn't use it, but come on we didn't deserve this.. :shakehead I guess it's there just because of a financial agreement between PD and Beemer. If not, why?

axeltramp: On the Vitz. I agree. Throwing in the one-model races like that is pretty clever, makes it pretty challenging, and forces players to outdrive the AI, not just overpower them.

As far as BMW, yeah. Generally, I'm kind of surprised that--as strong as both BMW and Porsche are in the real GT circuits--they decided not to allow for more licensing. Maybe EA has some exclusivity agreements or something, I don't know. It'd be nice if they saw how strong this game series is, though, and decided to allow for more licensing. But I may be nuts.

Yep' it's incredible that certain manufacturers haven't caught on, I mean GT3 went Platinum in the UK very quickly - that's alot of potential car buyer's in waiting!! I'm guessing licencing issues going back years have prevented the likes of Porsche, Ferrari etc from allowing their cars to be used. It can take up to 4 years to get a game from concept to publishing, so it's easy to see how deals can tie you up. But the likes of Nissan and Honda have publically thanked PD and the GT series for improved car sales. In the case of Nissan, Skyline GTR R34's when on sale through franchised showrooms in the UK because of GT1 and 2 and the increased awareness here. They said it, not me. ( or perhaps they were missing out on the grey import profits!! ).

They should at least be allowed to release some older cars tho' - Porsche 917, '73 911 Lightweight or BMW 3.0CSL 'Batmobile' or M1. 😈

I'd concur on the TT - more so than the Vitz. The Vitz is a dull little front drive hatch, so it doesn't have pretentions of being 'sporty'.

The TT, on the other hand is a very disappointing car standard, than tunes into a very disappointing expensive car.

If only that thing could be tuned into an 1100hp monster....

F1... any of them. They perform great, yay! But they just don't belong and the game would've been better off without them and with some additional models from other makers. Only the weakest, sorryest players use these...

Yeah i am both weak and sorry. I use them all the time i love f1 i only have f1 cars in my garage i think all people that dont use f1 cars are dirty dirty whores! what do you think about that dwdemon, huh i cant hear you speak up!

Enough with the Vitz bashing!!! I won the FF challenge on the Pro League with it.
It's a fantastic starter car as well,great way to make money early on in the game.

I dont offend anyone. He is the one that called people weak if they use the f1. I dont like it but i think that anyone should be able to use any car that they wish. It is their game you know.

I've got no problem with IDWF. He admitted he was a weak driver. Nuff said there as far as I'm concerned.

As for the Daihatsu Mira TR-XX Avanzato R, I like that as a starting car. With the starting 18K, you can mod it out enough to win the Lightweight K Cup at 2500/win. It'll also win the Sunday Cup, though that race isn't worth as much. Good for earning money fast, easy, and early.

Im a big time F1 fan....but not a big time fan of the F1's in gt3. they completely wreck the game. they are way to fast, way to easy to handle, and if you go back to any other car they fell like complete and utter piles of horse faeces. get rid of them for the next one i reckon. or only allow them in f1 specific races. other than that though, the pt cruizer i really hate.

Yeah when i went back and did the tt race in begginer i fully moded it and i was soooo dissapointed. I like the mini alot a car doesnt have to be fast to be cool.

I like the Vitz but not the pink one Ive seen a few of those sports ones around and they look quite cool. I like the daihatsu thingy, F1 cars are ok for about 5mins cuz there tooooooooooooo easy to drive. Oh and the Acura RSX is complete and utter s#!t (THIS CAR IS MEANT TO REPLACE A LAMBO DONT MAKE ME F%^KIN LAUGH)
