Here's two from raining Tokyo R246 with HD quality.

wait, if it's this simple to fool the game into putting weather on tracks that don't support weather... why didn't PD just include weather on all of the tracks? :odd: So strange! Nice find!

This weather glitch can work in GT5 as well. I wanted to find out if it will work on GT6 as well, and it did :D.

You guys are awesome. Nice find and thanks for sharing!
I was the only one (EDIT: some people) who founded this glitch working in GT6. Want me to create a room of this glitch?

I see that now. All credits go to you then!

Can't get online now, but awesome find nontheless.

thanks to the Let's Race video, i've been driving 'round London, in the p***ing rain all afternoon, having got back from driving around in the p***ing rain in London at work all day today :) Realism at last ! :p:tup:

Seriously tho, the rain in London was going SIDEWAYS at certain points today haha

I recommend going to Tsukuba, then doing the weather switch to Charmonix, taking your in car brightness ( EV +/- ? ) option down to -1.0, making sure you set your weather to 100%, fixed with 100% track water ( tho not sure if that registers, i might be wrong ) for a really atmospheric race :)

Haven't been able to do time, as of yet, ( London - using Nurburging 24hr options ) as the rain works, but even though you can change the time in the options ( Nurb options ) it doesn't affect the London track.

I guess, of course, we're "glitching" weather in, but a day/night cycle must be a whole other set of coding rules that can't be affected by this ? Hope that someone does find a way 'round that sometime tho :) IF it can be done at all. But A snowy London at night would be aces.

I'm guessing that there are no textures for lit buildings and streets for London, so the game would just show a powerless ghost town, if you could "glitch" day/night cycles

Forgive my ignorance on this too, as i have no idea, how they change the textures ( if at all ) during a day/night cycle in this game? Is it just lighting effects or do "night-time" textures load in during the race, as it were ? I genuinley have no idea, but would like to know how they do it :O

I sometimes turn the EV to -1.0. It's more realistic. The lighting effects of the car will be on while it's raining.

I've been testing several tracks but none reflected the changes in the time. I guess you can only enable rain/snow but not move the sun.
Has anyone been able to change the daytime?

24hr Nurburg, with Chamonix 100% settings looks pretty great too :) It cancels out the 24 hour day/night cycle unfortunately , but is stuck on a time, that is pretty dark, so you can simulate racing in snow, late in the evening :)

My time setting for 24 hour nurb, are 11.30 ( am i assume ), but it looks a lot later in the day.

I never thought to set the Nurb time before i switched to Chamonix settings, so maybe setting the Nurb time to late at night, THEN switching to Chamonix settings will keep it late ? I assume not tho, i imagine it will revert back to 11.30, as is probably the Chamonix default time setting...

Still looks great tho :)

Also appears that the track stays at 0% wet setting, no matter how you set it.

This is a picture of the GT Arena with Matterhorn weather settings.
My TV's brightness is a little low.

The time settings work correctly, and it makes this track more darker than usual :D
