Does anyone use a free web conferencing serivce to link up webcam video/audio? Any opinions on what the best service/software to use is?

I have had a 4 way voice conversation with two webcams running on Skype. That worked pretty welll.

Yep, I know skype will handle a large ammount of voice calls in a single conference, but I'm not so sure about whether it would handle more than 2 webcams. Their website says it'll take "4 people in a conference", but it doesn't say whether they have webcams on or not.

I might be wrong, but didn't MS netmeeting do something like that? There's something you type in run to get it to start installing.

EDIT

Nope, netmeeting is just for 2 people. Office Live Meeting will do it for up to 10 people, though. There's a free trial, but it's more business oriented if you're just looking to talk to family/friends.

I keep hearing that Skype is free, but when I go to the website it says it costs money. As has become clear in the premium forum, I am a major cheapskate, so I was hoping to avoid paying anything to use my webcam.

Audio is the most important thing here, so maybe skype will work out. I was hoping for video as well, but I've got 7 people invovled, so that might be bandwidth intensive.

Ah, I see. They're just charging for computer-to-landline calls. Not computer-to-computer. Interesting.
