1. Starting off the week, I used my Kangoo Faux Turbo. It's very good in the corners, but lacks in speed, which made getting the Alpine much more difficult, luckily, I can brake later than they could and took advantage of it.
2. Next, I used the SVT Raptor, it was... Meh.
3. Next, I used the Vantage, I copied (mostly) the Vantage GT4 tune by HSGAutomotive, which you can find on youtube, but without limiting the power or adding weight. It was pretty quick, but a bit twitchy
4. Finally, I used the C4 Corvette, a stock one. This one was a handful to handle, but it was a class of it's own.
5. I chose not to do Fuji, endurance racing is already bad enough, not including weather.

Pretty unmemorable set of races today, except for the truck race at Willow Springs and the Fuji race. Although I do quite enjoy driving at Blue Moon Bay. I wasn't too into trying to make it too interesting this week, so I decided to just go ahead with some slightly overpowered cars.

Only car this week that I used stock. I won this in one of my daily tickets ages ago and never got around to selling it. It's actually fun to drive. Might just keep this one around since it doesn't sell for much anyways. Its just fast enough to get to first halfway through the second lap.

The only Vantage I had was tuned to bits. I detuned it a bit and put sport hard tyres on it so it's not too overpowered. I hate how this car has 8 gears. Way too many gears!

Both my Tundra and F150 have been engine swapped, so I also detuned it a bit and put it on sport hard tyres. Keeping the suspension stiff still makes it hug the corners really well, another easy win.

Also engine swapped, the E30 M3 handles really well around the Ring. I was first by the start of the straight. I could have gone faster, but I try getting the CRB bonus for every race which means careful navigating around the other cars.

Did not bother making it at all competitive for this one. Yesterday marks the anniversary of his death. My way of acknowledging it, I guess.

Credits makes for boring prizes, but I'm not going to complain. Trying to collect all the cars, can use it towards that.

Things went as expected - again, all the races have been fairly easy. Guess I've been lucky with my car selection which was competitive right from the start without being too dominant. The R92CP being the exception of course but, you know, Fuji in a monsoon that's double torture and despite some masochistic tendencies I decided to minimize that pain ...
I even could have achieved a full clean sweep if the leading Aston wouldn't have double-braked at a corner apex.
Couldn't escape this, damn !

Race 1 - Brands Hatch
The Giulia is such a nice, stable and reliable little racer, 160 hp were perfect for a close fight against F. Pagandet.

Race 2 - Willow Springs
I could have sworn something happened in the back of my Raptor while overtaking V. Neto for the lead.

Race 3 - Blue Moon Bay
Last time the stock Vantage wasn't quick enough in my hands, this time she gave me a 10 sec winning margin.

Race 4 - Nordschleife
Overtaking the leading L(R)ambos at Hedwigshöhe gave me the necessary gap to defend against their top speed after Döttinger Höhe.

Race 5 - Fuji
FM 1 on IM compound was the recipe for a no-stopper through 7 laps of rain. Had to baby the Nissan home but ... it's done ! Yeah !

And now I need your help ! A couple days ago I came across this at work :

CARBON.jpg

It's a carbon piano tune tool and it reminds me of something ... don't know ... something game related. Any ideas ?

Choices for the races when they go live.

European Sunday Cup 500: Renault Clio 220 RS Trophy. Had to work abit to catch the Alpine, but otherwise smooth.
Pickup Truck Race: Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. Easy
Historic Sports Car Masters: BMW 3.0 CSL. Terrifying yet fun.
World Touring Car 800s: Toyota GR Supra RC. Had to remember my shortshifting technique and it works wonders for the rain.
Aston Martin Vantage One-Make: Whipped out the GT4 build and it was a runaway.

And the prize for the mileage ticket while doing these:

That's two cars I've gotten from tickets matching the manufacterur of that week's Special Event. Its not much, but its odd that I'd have two dollars for the exact same reason.
