You know the drill. Also: This is the most my car builds have used for a Weekly challenge and it ironically includes both my very first one from last year as well as my latest three Builds. I feel proud :D
How? Is this a composition with left side from one image and right side from another?

I remember doing just that once, but I always get lazy because there's too many hurdles to get the images to my machines for posting.

Its a composition but not in that way. Its a picture where one car is always the one in both pics but the other cars are carefully added in around it. For instance, the Peugeot is the only car from both pictures but I carefully used the Erase tool to uncover the Jaguar XJR-9 and Honda S2000.

See those glowy white portions? Thats where I used the erase tool to carefully erase the first portions of the picture on the top layer to have the cars from the picture on the bottom layer.

Clear the board today .
All races except Ring was with CRB included .
At Ring i lost it at second turn with dry conditions while i was the last two laps on RH with heavy rain without serious problem 🤬.
I can't enjoy that much the TM, the environment is too dark in some places and isn't helpful for my eyes.

What i enjoyed the most was the Smoothbore express at Spa ( Evo final Group B road car ) .

Later on i try some other cars at Spa from the dirt -tarmac brotherhood which was also enjoyable and a bit faster than " express " but still i prefer my first choice .

6* ticket brought 1 million flat so from credits side was perfect this week.

Back this week after 2 weeks gone. This week's events are actually good fun, I think. I enjoyed them all.

Autopolis International Racing Course_.jpeg

The black sheep of the Skyline family is actually a really great car to drive if you tune it well. I like Autopolis a lot, I know its divisive among people here, but with the right car, especially ones that's not too fast or too slow, its great.

Willow Springs International Raceway_ Streets of Willow Springs__1.jpeg

Finally, a CUV that you can do a decent tune on! Well, I haven't dialed it in yet, so its not to my liking. But I think this car has some potential. It is growing on me.

Trial Mountain Circuit_.jpeg

I really felt like a Maverick this race. Just out dragging everyone down the back straight. I've never actually driven this car. A good suspension tune is needed. Recognize the livery, anyone?

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps__2.jpeg

This car and the Alfa Romeo TZ2 is really fun for the 600pp races. They outrun all the other cars around the corners, but the opponents all brake and accelerate faster. This makes for really fun races. Highly recommend. Try the Alfa in the Legends dealership, guys!

Red Bull Ring__1.jpeg

Have not driven this in a while, too. The F1 GTR '97 is a lot more fun than the older model. I think it might be one of my favourite Gr.2 cars.

I got half a mil credits from the six star ticket, and a racing crankshaft for the Porsche 911 Turbo from my daily ticket. Yay.

That's not a bad set of races this week, with two of them sure worth to return to the next days.

Autopolis
That's real fun when the slowest car runs circles around the opponents no matter how hard they defend.
Toyota Sports 800 '65 / race tuned / 450 PP / P1, CRB

WC_250704_R1.jpg

Streets of Willow
This fabulous track deserves better cars racing there. And ... who mentioned the "pug ugly" lol ?
Peugeot 2008 Allure '21 / stock / 360 PP / P1, CRB

WC_250704_R2.jpg

Trial Mountain
A cakewalk but a little scary at times. However, I definitely have a weakness for taming monsters.
Jeep Willys Hellcat '45 / race tuned / 675 PP / P1, CRB

WC_250704_R3.jpg

Spa
Everything went as expected until I came upon a 7 car pile-up. Nerve-wracking ! Needed a second race attempt for the bonus.
Lamborghini Gallardo '08 / less than stock / 600 PP / P1, no CRB

WC_250704_R4.jpg

RB Ring
That's been a pain in the ass, don't remember how many times I tried. Either got tricked by the weather or just couldn't catch up to Miyazono. Best thing, I didn't give up.
Nissan R92CP '92 / less than stock / 800 PP / P1 finally, no CRB

WC_250704_R5.jpg

Next on my bucket list : Taking a Raptor to Trial Mountain.

Japanese FR Challenge 450: Honda S2000. Bought my Opera Performance Build and it was a blast.
American Clubman Cup 700: Ford Shelby GT350-R. Ole reliable being Old Reliable (Except a couple of times when the tail got slippy on those bumps, which means I might need to do abit of tweaking.
World Touring Car 600: BMW M3 Coupe. Had to Detune abit, but got the job done.
Neo-Classic Competition: Jaguar XJR-9. Set this to Normal Difficulty because I did not enjoy doing this again. Didn't the first time.
Peugeot SUV 2008 One-Make: Overpowered for sure but hey, I got a racey 2008 :D

And the prize from this week's ticket was 500,000 Credits. No silly tuning parts for me 👍

Decent week since I've done all these races in the past except of course the special. Anyway...
RBR in the same car I had won this last, 787B. Rain came around the 6th so I came in just for IM's after the 7th. Won by a minute and lapped half the field. lol

Spa was in my modded Escort on SS. Good race and won by about 5 seconds over Beauvois in his MB.
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps_ by 2cam16, on Flickr
Trial Mountain was another easy one in my IMSA "XR4TI" on RS. Won by a bunch.

Willows was easy in my lightly modded Pug on SS. Save for this off I had. lol

Autopolis in my monster of a Trust Hi-Ace with a 1000hp swap. lol Ridicoulous. Easy win.

Won a Mini VGT with the ticket but already had one so sold it.

Done and dusted...
weekly-challenge-202507w1-r5.jpg

Red Bull Ring - Sauber Mercedes C9 '89 - Started on RH tires and short-shifted enough to make it to the end of the race. Rain started on lap 6. I pitted for IMs on lap 7. Worked my way up to P3, but was too far behind the leaders. Good enough for the final ticket though. Won a Porsche VGT Spyder from it.

All wins on hard difficulty:
1. Subaru BRZ S '15 - 454.54pp,CS (stock)
2. Peugeot 2008 Allure '21 - 367pp,CM (stock)
3. Chevrolet Camaro Z28 '69 - (engine swap),668pp,SS
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am '78 - (engine swap),619pp,SH
4. Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STi '04 - 600pp,SM
5. Mazda 787B '91 - 792.5pp,RH,no rain,no pit stop
All the cars except the two that are noted as stock have tunes by @praiano63.

The Camaro on SS tires was OP. Instead of changing it's tires to SH, I decided to use it's Firebird cousin on SH. Much better race.
On my Mazda 800pp tune,I ran into the bug where installing IM tires raises the pp above 800. I detuned the car to 800pp on the IM tires so I could use them IF it rained. It cost me 50hp and it didn't rain :ouch:.

I found this issue on a detuned MP4/4 too, IM increased the high speed rotational G so it increased the PP level. Wets were fine so I just used those instead, shows how flawed the PP system is.

I have found it happening on quite a few of my tuned cars at 700-800pp. I didn't want to trust only having the wet tires because of possible wear issues depending on when the rain would possibly start and stop.

I'm really trying to get a clean sweep again, but luck just isn't on my side...

In the WTC 600 I tried one of the Toyota GR Yaris RZ or Corolla Morizo & could only achieve 4th even with RH tires. I'm gonna try both with SS & perhaps with added weight. Can't believe they're terribly bad on a high speed tarmac track. Was easy with a Lexus RC which I don't remember the name.

By RC, I'm assuming you mean the Lexus RC F?

It was either the RC F Gr.4 or the RC F GT3. It was not the RC GT500 since it is one of the best FR cars in the game. I usually don't use the meta car in the weeklies. Or it could be one of the Toyota GR Supra racing concept, because I think these cars are mostly equally good. At least with a good racing car it was easy, but needed the top speed & stability of the length of the car.
Edit: two of the cars I used was GR Supra race car '19 & GRMN '16. None are meta but both are good on Spa.

As only one of these cars is eligible for a 600PP-limited race without mild-to-serious detuning...

I wonder how much one would recommend modifying a stock Peugeot 2008 for the one-make event? I recall doing a one-make Aston Martin Vantage event where all I did was put it on Sport Softs and won easily.

I won by over 8 seconds with a completely stock car on hard, they're really slow around that layout. If you struggle you could probably just throw some softer tyres on and it'll be no problem.

Not alot honestly. I built a GT4 for the Aston Martin one just because I really wanted to do it and likewise, did it with the 2008 for this week's special event. Otherwise, not much. This track exposes just how unchallenging the AI is even on the hardest difficulty.

I would rather say that the game is incredibly unbalanced, difficulty-wise. I mean, I can win most events in hard difficulty without problems, while at the same time some events are too hard for me even when switching to easy difficulty, e.g. the Gr. 3 and Gr. 4 events and many of the Clubman+ races. I'd say this unbalancedness is probably GT7's biggest weakness.

I'd say that's a fair assessment. Its not on the level that say Grid Legends is (where its horrifically inconsistant even), but Its definately there.

"fair" would mean transparent, in my opinion. But it's not. As a beginner you only see the three difficulty levels. There's no sign or notification etc. that the Gr races are that much harder than the rest. The user has to learn that the hard way.

I started the WC. I started at Red Bull ring with the 787b. I normally take the 963 there but I decided to use the 787b. It was a good race until the monsoon came. It was ironic because yesterday North Carolina got hit with a bunch of rain yesterday.
It was raining so hard and they were some spots of red

I tried to get a pic of it but it was while the game was paused so it's too dark to see the colors. So you have to take my word for it. It rained from lap 5 until the end of the race

got the 100k and 10k cr from a 4 star ticket
Next I took a Lexus to Autopolis since I was on a time crunch

Finally to finish off my early morning session I took the Peugot to the desert street in Willow Springs

If only PD would let us change the rules [PP limit, tires, weight, HP etc} in all of the races at least after all the menu books unlocked or after level 50 unlocked then it would be swell & not a problem for anyone who can edit the event parameters.

After being away for the holiday weekend, I completed the weeklies yesterday. Continued with the V8 theme for 4 of the 5 races.

-Japanese FR 450: Lexus LC500, won easily, but it sounded nice.
-Peugeot 2008 One-Make: stock power, SS tires. Win
-US Clubman 700: Corvette C6.R build, Easy win, love the rhythm of Trial Mountain.
-WTC600: 300 SEL AMG on RHs, probably the most challenging, but very doable. It's a shame this car can't really be used much; it's a hidden gem.
-Neo-Classical: Sauber C9, fairly straightforward race, no rain. No stop, FM4 until lap 7, then FM1-2 to finish.

500K from both 4* daily marathon and 6* tickets. Quite a good week.
