I try Atlanta with a Toyota GT4 with SM tyres sport pads , discs and short gearbox which lead a fraction under 514 pp.
We had one race with Titans at interlagos with this settings so i said why not.
Very enjoyable car anyway.
In this line with 3 attempts never get CRB

Was due to traffic in certain places.
In this one i get it at first attempt.

Now am trying with Mitsubishi GTO on SM tyres little above 505 pp
Can win but if Afella is in the lead from the beginning it's way difficult to catch him and pass him at least clean.

Having a lot of trouble with the Supra feature race. Are they all tuned out of their minds or am I just that bad? Hard difficulty and I am seconds off the pace in a reasonably tuned '20 Supra.

They have around 700PP if not even more, that's what I needed to win (check a few posts back) and I dare say I'm quick. You'll need more than a reasonable tune for this one.

Mission accomplished,GTO at 504,4 pp ( always normal mod) with SM tyres and the " short " gearbox that drops pp by little.
Third attempt managed the CRB since Afella stuck behind Brooks morizo till start of 3rd lap that I pass them both .
The other two end up second and was impossible to catch him in the second, one.
If he gets away soon he " write " 38's - dead - and since his tyres are SS it's difficult to pass him safe under braking .
Anyway i did what i had in mind and it's all about traffic using low pp cars .

I also try some stock Subaru and EVo's but with Mitsubishi i use SH tyres to be more stable.

Anyone tried the Supra race on Hard with a 700PP car on sports softs? Because I did, and yes it can be done with the CRB to boot.

Managed it, too. Admittedly I've been a bit frustrated from my other car so I built a 2020 Supra that's received the full treatment :
wide body, wide base, wide wheels, full aero, an LFA engine and everything else. After restricting it to 699 PP my car appeared quite similar to yours regarding power and weight. And SS tires of course ...

That's been a win with CRB, got the impression though that winning at that PP level is a bit dependent on how the top AI ( in my case Takahashi ) does. If he gets in front early anyone else will have a hard time.

@Wilsonson

You will definitely need a fast and stable car at around 700 PP ! Keep at it ...

Weekly cars, all on hard difficulty:

Jimny Cup
: Jimny XC, tuned with sport parts + racing suspension. Easy win...
Japanese 4WD Challenge 600: LFA-swapped Alphard. Nice challenge, but fairly straight forward win.
Race Of Turbo Sportscars: 700PP-build VW Scirocco. It was a long time since I drove this and was pleasently surprised... Another easy win.
World Touring Car 700: GT500 Supra RH, pit at end of lap 7 for some fuel. Easy win in a classic GT favorite...
Toyota Supra One-Make: Think I used the '20 GR Supra RZ. Can also be the '19... 🤣 700+PP, took the lead beginning of lap 4. won by 4s after a terrible (by me) last lap...

Got 500K from the 6* ticket.

At Suzuka, during the 4th lap, it was raining but during the 5th lap I noticed along the last straight "something white and shining" along the side track between the grass... and I thought it seems hail...

Then I checked the replay and part of the rain on my windscreen it was really HAIL !!!
Never happened to me before in any race where it was raining.

Did you experienced hail in the past in other races or it is something new from the last update?

So I was able to do the WC and I didn't fall asleep  I started at Laguna Seca. I have a bunch of 700 pp cars so I chose one I never used before the Mini VGT. I used FM6 with RM tires. I had enough fuel but I was real hard on the tires so I had to pit to switch tires around lap 6. I fell back to 11th, but I got back in 1st by lap 8 after all the cars in front of me pitted. The Mini was a fun little car to drive. I might use it again. I definitely to find a good livery for it.

In keeping with the theme of using cars I haven't used in awhile I chose the MC20 for the race of the turbo sportcars. It was an easy race in that car

Next I chose my swapped Supra because I had really done anything with other Supras and it has been awhile since I used it

Next I chose swapped Mazda

Finally I used my swapped Jimny at one of my most hated tracks

I got 1 million credits from the 6 * ticket. I was hoping for the Lambo Veneno but 1 million is not a bad consolation prize

I haven't done the weekly challenges for a long time, but Friday night I decided to clean the rust off and go for a drive. The Supra race I did in a 660pp mkIV F&F replica I have. Got second place. It was an okay race. It would have been nice if PD would have kept the leader a bit closer to the pack so it could have been a more engaging race. If I would have gone with 700pp the first 10 cars would have been behind me in the first lap.

The other 4 races were meh. I took out my F430 Challenge clone with RM tires to the WTC700 race.

That was kind of fun. It might have been able to be won with RH tires, but the AI brakes way too hard into the turns and blocks the racing line too much. I couldn't keep up enough corner speed with RH tires while taking the outside line all the time.
