Loving the look of this week's selection.
I wonder if it's possible to win all 4 regular events in one car (under the PP limits), a 930 Turbo perhaps? 🤔

The WTC 700 might be a struggle without a racing engine. If I remember right that one needs a pit stop for fuel even in Gr4 cars.

I've won it before with a BMW M2 tuned to Gr.4 specs/pace. AI really struggles across the mountain so you can save a bunch of fuel there and still make up time.

Hard difficulty, no help but ABS on standard, using a Logitech RS50 on a GT Omega Titan, cockpit view. H shifter and clutch when it matches the car.

Sunday Cup Mazda Eunos Roadster '89, stock, 391pp

Japanese FR Challenge 450 cup Mazda RX-7 GT-X (FC) '90, stock, 461pp.
Nothing special here neither... CRB on the second attempt.

Schwarzwald League RUF 4.2 '16, 699pp
My first CRB on the Nordschleife !
Big step for me. But I still rely too much on the other cars as I still don't fully know the track. The RUF had mainly tyres, brakes and suspensions upgrades, and street tier exhaust, and was a pleasure to drive !
3rd only, I was pulverised by the red AMG Black Series on the last straight.
CRB ✔️!

She had a V8
Can I make it any more obvious ?

Achh, so close...

FTO Special Event No permanent mod, 530pp
This little thing has a good front axle, nearly as goof as our French ones ! Strange to see how PD gave the Elantras the worst front axles I ever drove in a sim when this one is so good. Only non-permanent modifications and a mid-range turbo, but I bought a 2nd one to make a kind of NA "cup" version.
No CRB

WTC 800 Mazda 787B '91 - 799.9pp
After a few unsuccessful attempts with a detuned Walkyrie (4th at best), I used my 787 cheat code... Not proud of what I'm doing ! No stopper, RH, mostly FM6.
I love the open road flow of this track !
CRB ✔️... But I wonder why !

Did you know ? The kerbs here are made of Lara's b**bs !

Fun week indeed !

Nice events (I don't mind the evil Nord in a classic). Rewards a bit cheap.
Why?! I did three of the updated races already risking having to do it again, having unlearned from last time but it's actually the updated race I didn't do this week.

I mean, I totally knew it would be that one, big brain move on my part.

Guilty here too. After all the past updates I'm FINALLY holding myself back from doing the new races knowing that they'll be in the weeklies.

Fun week, especially with the mileage trial. Sunday Cup is hard, barely won at 460 PP so not sure if you can even win at 400 without doing something crazy. Historic Sports Car Masters is the opposite, easy and fun as the sun sets with a lot of cars to use. Mileage trial was a nice change but a little weird on RS, didn't bother going much past gold as all the top ones on the leaderboard are going to use some kind of exploit anyway. Porsche Cup is fine under 600 PP, went with a sport spec 959 although I think stock on SH might just be able to do it. WTC 700 is possible in all the Gr.4 cars and any road car tuned to that performance level, AI is super slow across the mountain and they all pit and then go even slower afterwards, still good fun to try out some different cars.

This weeks cars:
full

Crawled around for 10 minutes in 3rd gear to get the bronze in the mileage trial. Had loads of fuel left but couldn’t be bothered trying for gold. Very boring.

What imbecile thought this Jimmy mission was a good idea? Damn thing is impossible.
Stick it on fuel mix 6 immediately. Just give it enough gas to keep it rolling on the uphill, lift and coast on the flat and downhill. Take corners wide to keep momentum. You only need about 1/3 of the lap to get bronze for the challenge rewards.

Hypermiling would be fun if there were more cars around. See who wants to lead and get in the tow. :sly:

Anyway, I used the Spain F3500B for the CGV race. Full speed no need to coast around. Lapped half the field for the win. I think it was about 18 minutes.

I got 12,265m.
Any videos of how to get further?
Seen the leaderboard and one guy got 33km
Which is a lap and a half.

Wonder if they're cheating to some degree?

Yeah, I just did the race and I'm really curious to see how ppl here will deal with this.
I used a stock e30 M3 which is 460pp, got first before the last chicane on the last lap, again it seems like the spacing of the AI is a bit harsh to artificially make racing against AI harder instead of improving the AI

I tried a few cars under 400pp and really felt like it's impossible. Now I admit I'm not a very good driver and I don't really know the track well, but still. That's why I'm curious to see if ppl manage to win this in a car under 400pp in a "fair" way.

And yes, I won on hard in a car under 400 and playing by PD's rules. But not playing by my rules, so it didn't feel good and definitely not fair for me.
