That mileage mission is sooooooo boring. Did 12km like a snail, then full throttle to guzzle the 10% fuel remaining, bye ! 25 minutes of my life lost 🤣
This is the first Special event I cannot gold. I've pretty much forgotten how I even golded the original ones in-game so this is one I might have to just leave as silver because its just...impossible in my hands.

The races seem to pay out the standard amount for each event (CRB is available, too), plus ticket rewards for completing 1, 3, or all 5 races.
Feel free to discuss vehicles used for each event or if you're having any difficulty with a particular event, or maybe even a challenging/fun car combination you tried!
I have just started to yo through this week's challenges and for the first time ever im not going to be able to complete because of the mission challenge only being a manual transmission which I can't use because of my disability which in turn means I'll miss out on all the prizes, surely this cannot be fair? Or does grand not think people with disabilities play there game!

can't you press a button here and there ? it is not as if you need to be precise or else, just switch from 3rd to 4th sometimes, everything goes extremely slowly so you have plenty of time
I ask as it may be possible to reassign buttons to account for it. Of course it may also not be possible to do so, but without knowing more we won't know if we can help or not!
I tried a few cars under 400pp and really felt like it's impossible. Now I admit I'm not a very good driver and I don't really know the track well, but still. That's why I'm curious to see if ppl manage to win this in a car under 400pp in a "fair" way.
And yes, I won on hard in a car under 400 and playing by PD's rules. But not playing by my rules, so it didn't feel good and definitely not fair for me.
I play this yesterday, didn't run the game today till now so i don't know if something changed.
My impression is that it's impossible to win this on a 400 pp configuration.
The Renault in front is at least at 500 pp and the gap is way to much even for an alien.

I’m finding it’s more about how little throttle input you use and not about engine revs. Sort of strange but the less of the throttle input bar I see the less fuel consumption. In real life it’s more about lower revs.
I was just doing this for fun, don't really care about credits anymore. But the first event almost ruined the fun for me. As already discussed here, this is one of those races which seem impossible to win with a car at or under the recommend PP on hard mode and that's just something I don't like.
But in the end I decided to not let this ruin my fun while still sticking to my goal.
So instead of using a higher PP car I played by PD's rules. Took a 399PP car, equipped it with a NOS and won that damn race😄
Next was Nordschleife. This time I chose the beautiful Toyota 2000GT. I hate understeer and always tune my cars towards oversteer but I may have went a bit too far here. Let's say I was more sliding across the track than driving on it😄 But it was definitely fun and also clean until I passed the Lambo and the driver decided to try to push me of track. But at this point I was already used to catch the car so he didn't succeed and I stayed in front and won the race🙂
While I already was at Nordschleife I did the milage mission next. In my opinion a incredibly dumb and boring event. I hope we will never see this again in weeklies.
For the Porsche race I chose the "Strassenversion". I payed 10kk for this, so I guess I should use it from time to time😄 I like the track, I like the car (just always a bit disappointed by the sound), the race was fun and, ofc, easy to win with this car.
Last was Mount Panorama and for this I used my swapped Mazda Atenza Road Car for a unspectacular no-stop victory. I really like this car, it's fun to drive and looks amazing!
Started with the races first and I just ticked them off - one attempt each for the instant win.
Lucky me I had run that first event yesterday already, so I knew what to expect and went with a car quick enough to catch the two Renault rabbits. What came over me ?
Call me nuts but I just had to get them out of my way as I was looking forward to that fuel saving mission, honestly.
Ok, so let's go !
Race 1 - MINI Cooper S '05 - 480,95 PP - ✅ When you wish your car had as much PP as the chopper above ...
Race 2 - Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone Prototype '67 - 575,75 PP - ✅ Glad I could snatch Ben Affleck's car recently for next to nothing, it's a charm to drive ...
Race 3 - Porsche Taycan Turbo S '19 - 623,80 PP - ✅ Make sure you've got an anchor handy when you get on board ...
Race 4 - Mazda Atenza GR3 Road Car '17 - 665,60 PP - ✅ This car isn't the fastest but rock solid fun in 787B orange, I love it ...
And now the second attempt of
Race 5 - Suzuki Jimny XC '18 - stock - ✅ of course ! There's no better place to be, on the day the earth stands still ...
After successfully finishing that Jimny job I felt like one more run at Bathurst could be the icing on the cake today.
My Subaru MONSTER WRX Type S '14 is a car I hadn't driven in a while and hey, couldn't have picked a better way to end this racing day. It's ultimate fun tossing that thing around Mt. Panorama. Since it's thirsty as hell there's no way sadly to do a no stop race but well, guess you just can't have everything ...
🙋♂️
PS edit
Does anyone have a good build for the new Camaro ? Wanted to take it to Bathurst soon ...
I did the stupid fuel mileage thing but it's the last time I'm going to do one. I'd rather pass up a 6* ticket loaded with swaggy cars and gold bars than do another mileage thing.
made it to the end of lap 6 on fm1 during the wtc 700 race, there was a caution during the 1st lap from Gallo spinning out then slammed into another ai trying to recover.
I enjoy pulling out the GT40, aids off and just blasting off around here in this race. Apart from the livery, nothing is altered on the car because it just feels that good to drive.
European Sunday Cup 400: DS3 Racing. Initially tryed with the Captur thinking it was gonna be easy but even on the easiest setting, winning was not happening. Historic Sports Car: Ford GT40. 'Nuff said Porsche Cup: Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion. Felt like cheesing it today, that and forgot I had that Champion Livery on it. World Touring Car 700: Hyundai Elantra N TC. Whoo boy, that was intense. Special Event: Opposite of fun, that's it.
Dragon Trail - Renault Captur S Edition '21 - I tried this in the unmodified car, but could only manage P7. Went for a second time after adding all the sport-level upgrades, SS tires, and level-1 weight reduction (~470PP). That was just enough. Caught up to Lopez on the final corner for the win. First ticket obtained.
Nürburgring - Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone Prototype '67 - No changes to the car. It was already pretty close to the PP limit stock. Made a couple mistakes that kept me from catching the leaders. Still, P3 was good enough for the second check mark.
Nürburgring - Suzuki Jimny XC '18 - I found this one pretty easy. Set the FM to 6, never rev above 2000RPM, coast as much as possible. It was slow for sure -- often below 20km/h -- but enough to get me to the gold. Second ticket obtained.
Kyoto - Porsche 911 Carrera RS (993) '95 - I found this car in my garage already tuned just under 650 PP. It was on SS tires, but beyond that, I don't remember what I did to it. Made for an easy win. Another check box ticked.
Bathurst - Toyota 86 Gr.4 - I had no idea what tire strategy to use for this so I started on RMs. I had enough fuel to last 5 laps, but when I saw the leaders going into the pits at the end of lap 4, I did the same to avoid any crazy rubber-banding. I changed to RS tires for the final stint. That got me to P3, just on the tail of the two leaders. Good enough for the final ticket.
A fun set of races this week. I even enjoyed the fuel-saver, tedious though it was.
Pretty fun week even though I've done these races.
Dragon Trail was in my Pandem M3 on SS. Easy 15 second win. Haven't modded the new Renault yet so I'll return.
WTC700 in my trusty Gr.4 Cayman. Handily won after a pit stop on 5 for some fuel. I just hate the AI going down the mountain. Just so freakin' slow.
Nordschleife in my go-to for this race, Mustang on SS. Easy 16 second win.
Porsche Cup in one of my 992's. Again handily won.
And for the finale which I saved for last, the freakin' Jimny TT. Good God, the most boring thing I've done in this game! And to think I had to try twice as I had to figure out a strategy for Gold. lol
Hello, the mileage challenge was hard for me as I noted in a previous posting, and that i do not use manual I couldn't grasp the concept of the "low revs" to save the fuel and thus I barely get 5.61 miles!
