I'm making small adjustment in the tranny as I go. It's, for the most part, the same as when the Full customize tranny is first installed. But I'd like to see the original run 13.046.

In just 400m runs, I've put 20 miles on the civic, 15 of which have been playing with the tranny.

I just thought of an idea for the scoring that I think could make this really fun. What about breaking it up into 3-5 week seasons, and basing the scoring on just those weeks? This way, it wouldnt be like the WRS leaderboards that go back for ages and ages. This would be more competitive and give newcomers a chance to get right into the action. We could do a poll to decide how many weeks each season should be composed of 👍

That's a great idea, iceman.

After a MAJOR tranny overhaul, I ran a 13.017 first run, gotta work in the morning... will break 13's tomorrow

Update, before going to bed I had to get in a few more runs...I tied your 12.999.

The heat is really on in this one, and with Honduhs's too...who woulda thunk. :sly:

Awesome! A tie for apparently second place right now :sly:

I knocked off a lot of time in my Civic, but I'm still last. VERY tight competition everyone!

Current leaderboard

12.999 icemanshooter23
12.999 waynewright33
13.023 DeuceofClub
13.058 darkwind
13.141 German_Muscle
13.144 kennythebomb

Darkwind, not sure if your best is 13.046?

Also we know German _Muscle is running a bit faster, but by how much we don't know haha

For now, 13.046 is my fastest. But don't expect many, if any, times from me today. Lots of plansa nd stuff to do.

I've got a good idea of what I need to do, so it shouldn't be to hard to reach those 12s.

Had a go with the Integra Type R (DC5) '03 this morning and improved a bit on my Civic time to: 12.925

I think I'm probably done, it doesn't seem like I will be able to beat that time.

Honda CIVIC TYPE R (EP) '04
304HP (299)
13.033

Honda INTEGRA TYPE R (DC5) '03

12.994...haven't changed anything from the overhaul, just had a better launch I guess.....I'm going to see what I can do though, It feels like I can do quite a bit better.

Ok I edited it.

19 seconds, 12 seconds, it's all the same. LOL :P

Anyways I didn't get a single run in today, I had a really busy day working and singing rental aggreements, doing a few things to my car etc, hopefully I'll get time for sme runs tomorrow.

So I'm still at 12.994. :(

Dang, I'm still last :)

Hey no worries, we all have obligations and real lives we need to take care of :) What car do you drive?

bleh. Now I wish I'd put some more runs in. MY CIVIC WILL DO BETTER!!!!! So help that car. If it doesn't break 12s soon I'm gunna sell it and make that NSX-R a front wheel drive!!!

Well I need to head off to bed. Just got back from seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and War of the Worlds. 👍 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory :tdown:War of the Worlds

I drive a 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. I pretty much built it myself. I had a Plymouth Laser, but it was FWD and the body was in ruff shape, so I bought the AWD as a shell for 600$ (CAD), swapped the engine in, replaced the turbo compressor housing O-ring, rebuild the head, swapped over the interior and found a free tranny with a cracked bellhousing, and rebuilt it/fixed it. Did a few minor cheap/free mods as well. Soom as I get settled in to my new home and get a nice huge TV, then all my checks will be going into her, I'm stoked.

I gotta head to work though, hopefully I'll get a few runs in tonight,

Well heres my final time. 12.976. I can't get any better without a perfect launch. But I bought two new games today so I'll be trying to beat those for awhile. I'll be racing next week. Good luck with the rest of this week all.

I must be doing something wrong… my Civic time is more than 0.1 sec’ slower.

I just finished another SCCA round in Hong Kong so I’ll be heading to Vegas for another session soon.

That time was with an Integra, I meant that my new time in the Integra improved on my Civic time.

New and “improved” time.

I think I might be able to get a 12.949, but I don’t see a way to reach iceman.

Good job, I'll have to try out that Integra tonight.

BTW Kenny,
If you are planning to run the comp for more than 3-4 weeks why not doing it a real drag competition. i.e. head to head matches. Single or double elimination till one man is standing.

You can run 1 or 2 weeks of qualy to determine seeding and than best Vs. worst and so on.

Great idea. For sure we can try this at least once very soon.

Do you think we should wait until we have more people?

Please PM me if you would like to help me set this up, since it was your idea.

I think 16 users should be enough.
1 week qualy and 4 weeks till the finals.

I have no interest running it. You doing a swell job yourself.

I could help you set it up kenny. I'd just need to know who all would want to participate. A head to head comp wouldn't be to hard to setup. The biggest difficulty would be deciding how to do elimination and still have other racers race while the comp goes on. Maybe a comp thread and the regular weekly drag race thread?
