Hi guys and girls.

We're going to switch it up a bit.

When you go to power and speed, head on over to the driving park for 0-1000M.

You are NOT going to Las Vegas!!!! They are busy trying to find some water.

The challenge is any 4WD. If the game says it is a 4WD, it's good to go. Anything is allowed - except cheating :p

If you post a time you must say what car you are driving. Post both splits.

Escudo - 8.819/15.704.

Winner is required to post a full setup at the end - my form of verification. It is advisable to save your replay and write down your settings right after your best run.

Today is July 29th and this will end when I get back from a trip - so that should be on August 6th. You have plenty of time for this one, so the deadline is midnight August 6th.

You may PM me or post your time in this thread.

Is that looking to be a decent time? Guess we'll have to wait and see what some other people run.
 
I'd say either the Escudo, or the Subaru WRX Sti Spec C. My money is on the Escudo though since I can only get my Spec C to run a 15 and my Escudo is running low 13s right now without much tuning

Yeh, LOL :dopey: , that's in the escudo, there's other cars I'd way rather run this in, but I know it will be that fastest, so I just sucked it up and put some runs down. That was with maybe 10 minutes of adjustments, there's more to be had, just wanted to see what some other times were looking like. :sly:
 
hmm..well I will run my 3000gt...it gets 7.900 in the 400meter..maybe it'll carry speed to the end also.

Tested with an Audi Le Mans quattro. Only got high 8s and mid 15s.... Fully tuned but then again I'm not very experienced with drag car tuning. :P

More to shave off, MAYBE .6's...but I have to start packing now, cause I'm moving my stuff to my new house tomorrow, and I'm moving in monday, which means I won't have access to a comp until I can afford a comp, so I'll have to goto a friends house each week, see what car it is, and post my best time at the end.

Let me know when the tourney starts, and how things are going to work with that. How does the qualifying part work? Does my win last week get me in?

Amazing time. You are automatically guaranteed a spot for the tourney - right now you would be paired up with me :p I still have to make the tourney thread.

How... I'm still only running 7s and low 13s with my Escudo. Might switch to the Impreza though. Low HP, but it rivals the Escudos 1/4 mile.

I only adjusted one gear and took over 2 seconds off the Escudos normal time. The car is fully tuned for drag.

I got my Subaru to run a 13.9xx, then I decided to play some more with the Escudo.
 
Ah well..I suppose the only real car to use wiould be the Escudo...my 300gt doesn't come close..well actually..it kinda does.
 
Come on! There's gotta be something comparable to the Escudo!

...I know that sounded really dumb. But at the same time... lol I'm gonna see what I can do to the RUF CTR2. :P

So far I've managed:

9.5 at 400m
16.062 at 1000m

I honestly don't think it'll get much better. Maybe a 14.8 at the very best. :(
 
well my 3000gt VR4-turbo (913hp) can cover the 1000meter in high 13's..I geuss I'll have to use the escudo
 
Yeh, that's pretty much what I was saying in one of my earlier posts, there's other cars i'd way rather do this in, but I know that the escudo is in it's on league.

I just want to vefiry that "Anything is allowed - except cheating " right Kenny? So any mod is good to go right? Just wanna make sure before I keep trying for better times. I don't own any cheatig devices so don't worry about that lol.

Good luck to all you guys, I know one of you guys should hit my time once you start playing round with the Escudo.

Too bad about being grounded - are you saying you got a 12.884, too?

BCDSM - yes, any upgrade you can buy or do to the car through the game normally is perfectly fine.
 
i currently got 8.030/14.323 in my Spec-C.
but maybe i'll try again with the escudo

More power to you! I know I've seen people with the Spec C get well under 8, so you can definitely knock some time off that with more tuning :)
 
I dunno man. I think I've done all I can to it almost. I don't see it being within the low 13s or mid 7s. I must say I HAVE learned a lot about tuning, though. This is my first time ever tuning a drag car (aside from the Audi and the RUF and so on... lol but those were for this race, too). I'm pretty happy about what I've turned out.

That said...tomorrow will find me scouting high and low for a 4wd vehicle to kill the Escudo with. Or some other equally bad English...thing...with the.... *begins mumbling* Erm...yeah. :odd:
 
12.865 You wont find anything better than the Escudo just to save you time.
