whoo! im on the last one, but i took the RUF CTR2, I tried taking the zz2 but it wouldnt let me, it's a "no tuning" series i hate it.

I won the first three races of the PD cup. Going quite well.

Zboost.. I completely forgot about sending you my current SSR5 settings for the F094/S. Ill try to get that for you ASAP. My only problem now is that GT3 always autoloads to the end screen of the last series race. I think I can get around it, but that would mean putting in my mem card after the PS2 is on and after GT3 is loaded into the main screen. Dont wanna risk doing something like that until i get an Xport or Sharkport.

Beef of the day: Stupid CANADA!!! No friggin Sharkports or Xports are available across the friggin country! Im probably going to have to order an Xport online. :banghead:

np, i still don't have it... only 1 race left, I HOPE i get it since there are 3 others...

Do the save game trick! Until u do get it! It would be crazy to have to restart the PD cup if you dont get it.

oh i am, i just beat it, and got the gt1..... o well, another 40 min........

Do you have enough points to quit out of the last race and still win the series? Cuz that would save you loads of time. Or maybe you have a 100% win ratio and dont want it to go down? ;)

Back on topic... I think my best time is still 57.4 - friggin sector times before corners, puts ya right off!

Beef of the day (to take a leaf out of T13R's book): Sector times at SSR5 - putting them before corners crucial to good lap times distracts you no end! Of course you're gonna look at them to see how you're going, aren't you? :grumpy:

thanks never thought of that!

I have a suggestion for the series. Since this race is 2 weeks long, why don't we just skip the test track. Boring as hell and I don't even think an f1 can outrun a gtone so it will just depend on which ai car drives the best line. Just an idea.

I didnt eben know we were running the test rack - I dont think it would be much fun - a bit boring but if its there then its there
I just wanted to say that I thought same as Sough about test track

Hehe, my best so far is also in the 57.4's.

And yes those sector times are in the worst place if u ask me. Cuz if I see I did an awesome in first sector, I will most likely screw up the downward right-left immediately after. Or once again if I see Ive improved on my T2, I will brake late, and have to slow down way too much for the right-left-right portion after T2. Im trying not too look at sector times anymore. I try to find key spots on the track where I can see if my time is good or not, and I try to forget about the T's.

Exactly what I'm trying to do. I found that by ignoring the T's (which is no easy feat :irked: ) I could run consistent 58s, witha 57 here or there (once! :P).

That's what I'd like this week - consistent 58s. :)

How are our sectors looking? I saw a few 21.8 T1s/37.x T2s today and ending up with 58s, if I get my arse into gear I might be able to drop those sectors significantly.

will be having a crack at this Wed. night/thursday morning

Someone is going to get reported me thinks...

If you're getting 37.x T2s you should be in the 57's.

Yeah, the 37.x T2 I'm on about was a 57. I've visited the 57s frequently, but am happy with 58s.

CLINTON: What's this about "reported"? :odd:

My best laps so far are in the 58.0 region:)

i'm quite happy with that

 A new guy! Haha, if you plan on joining in, welcome aboard :)

The doofus called "craigmack" that was starting crap threads in here that should have been elsewhere, then told me via e-mail that he would "post wherever he liked" and to "bog off" pretty fuggin original there hey?

This has since been repoted and taken care of, thanks Boom

Oh yeah I remember that, Clint. Cheers 'Bexus. :D

I played around with my settings today, because I wasn't happy with my lines/braking points. I took the Spring Rate right down, jacked the front ride height higher than the rear and put LSD Decrease up to 60 (LSD Initial on 5, Accel on 15) and my lines and braking points are a whole lot smoother now. As of yet it hasn't translated into better times, although I did manage to take .2 off my best lap. That was about the one good lap I did today, while still pulling consistent 58s.

Oh yeah and welcome aboard, Hugh Jeers! Nice user name. :D

We are in for a thrashing now, this is Mr P's 12 year old son, he's run a sub 50 at Midfield
Get yer eye's on him boys, this kid is QUICK

Nice to have you aboard. Sweet time on midfield, I'm not worth crap on that track. Make sure to remember that the race you submit must be done on the weekend, and to save the replay.

Still been busy with other things but I'll get a good race in on the weekend.

That's Mr P's son? Crap, so much for my constant 3rd place finish... :(

On a brighter note, I cleared the PD cup with my beater umm beetle RSi. Was planning on doing all races, but when I saw Tokyo was last, and that its a pretty damn fast track I decided to stop there... only 225 hp :( So this means I can resume the testing for SSR5.

...damn, the GT-One(the car I won from PD cup) is just crazy when you do the wheelie trick, and I finally figured out how to break out of Seattle... and then started another PD cup with the Cobra  Dont worry! I'll be done soon :D Just need to get my hands on the Speed 12 :trouble:

Yeah? Great, now I can have some good competition with Mr P's heir, cause there ain't no way on earth that I'll catch P himself. :p

Im on a mission to get a new F1 tonight - Test track enduro best bet ?? Or a cup ?? Which is less time consuming cos Ive got to put some more test laps in this week !

"Test Track Enduro"? You mean Super Speedway Enduro. :p

Do the save/load trick for the PRO Dream Car Cup. :)

Yeah I meant that one !!

I'll crack on with the save trick then tonight - I may as well run it in my 001 - or is it the one that only takes STD cars ?? I cant remember, nevermind I'll do it tonight anyway !!
what car will be "challenging" to do it in ?

EDIT - and I dont mean the std yaris !!!

Since your pal, you could get the 001 in the speedway enduro or the pro league dream car cup as well as the PD cup.

Damn lucky PAL ppl. They may have only 2 F1 cars, but atleast they can get the Poly 001 in the dream car championship where u can use an F1 to "quickly" end the series.

James, if you really wanna do the PD cup, and want it to be challenging, your gonna have to find a slow car. One that isnt fast even with real life standards. I wonder if a Miata could do it, even if it isnt that bad IRL

Im currently doing a run of the PD cup with a Cobra... no challenge at all, but its one unstable monster :) I think its a good car to start drifting with for beginners. I know an RGT will kick the **** out of the opposition. I still need to win the Escudo and Speed 12, so I might give the Miata a try sometime.
