I won the PD Cup in the GT-One Road Car, I couldn't be stuffed with competition!

I think I'll go back with a slow car this time, I'm up for a challenge.

New hotlap time, and it aint in the 56's :trouble:

I started last night and just decided to use my 001 - It is knackered anyway cos of too many miles and it'll be quicker that way !!
Ive only just recovered from the monotonous drone of the test track !!! My sister came into my bedroom when I was half way through and thought Id fallen asleep or something !!!!

And Sough I hope you arent hinting at 55 !!!

You shouldnt worry too much about that. We are pretty open ppl here and wont ask for much proof unless you are way way faster than everyone else. But you wont be faster anyways right?:trouble:

Hehe, just kidding

Still in the 57's then? :p
Man I dont know how you do it cuz I really find that I "drive" that F1 to the limit. Wish I could see a replay of you driving that hotlap or sumtin, I would really like to know where I am going wrong.

Well its not like I'm running 55.1 here, or even multiple 55's, but I did net a clean 55.934. I'll attach the replay(sharkport) to the results thread k?

Holy crap. Even a high-55 is faster than I could ever go. What position is 55.934 at GT3Times?

Thats first place on GT3 times, and the only one under 56 seconds  Closest guy is like 0.2 seconds off.

Hey Sough that would be cool if you could attach the replay but Im still in the hunt for an Xport or Sharkport. Do they still make sharkports? Cuz if not I think I will have to convert the replay for Xport. I know it can be done, just not sure how yet. Anyhow it would be really cool to see that replay :)

Jesus christ! No wonder i couldnt find any speed, Sough pinched it :D

'luck all, times submitted

Already done Bollocks? Damn.. I finished that PD cup with the Cobra yesterday, but I think I wont have time tonight to do SSR5. I know I will have plenty of time tomorrow, plus no one in the house = no distractions, which means I might do good.

I found my sharkport at a Toys R Us, you might want to try there. Some other places would be circuit city, radioshack, kbtoys, electronics boutique. Or maybe just order it on the net.

The first time I bought one I couldn't get it to work, but after trying everything to troubleshoot, I returned it for another and I've had no problems.

Got a race saved now, but I'll give it a few more attempts to see if I can better it.

One question for everyone, how does everyone launch?

If you mean launch at the start of a race well I try to have the revs at max when the countdown reaches 0.

Well I also meant what gear. I max the revs in second. But if I used less tcs, I probably wouldn't max out.

Race time is about to be submitted. Beat my goal by .06 and had a spread between laps 2-5 of about .5 seconds. Still it wasn't near perfect, but I'm satisfied.

Ive just loaded up memory card 2 and found a 001 with 68 miles on it !!! So I'll not bother doing the whole PD cup again then !!

So let me get this right - T13R I think you said about not saving so the miles wouldnt mount up ?

So if I just save my replay then its just those 5 laps which is hardly any miles at all - Oh and another thing my time will be slow cos its a new car I found, never mind. Right Im off to race now

Actually by only saving the replay your car does not gain any mileage at all. As long as you dont save the game afterwards... Basically next time u load up GT3, ur P001 will be exactly the same as you had it before even starting to race or practice from the time before. So ur F1 can stay at peak level forever. Just be carefull not to test so much that you end up losing power... Cuz that happened to me before. I put too many miles on testing and got the car out of its peak. I saved my settings, and rebooted GT3. Its that simple :)

yeah, it happens when you work on a sunday and have a GP on the same night (I go around to a mates and watch), so most sundays i dont get a chance to turn the PS2 on at all :(
So my times suffer for it

That sux. I managed to work more during the week to get the weekend off. ( Actually just so that I can sleep in more :) ) But soon im gonna be working the weekend again.

Well time is just about to be submitted. My time is full of ****. Im not pleased at all. There is a span of 0.056 seconds between my 3 best races... but they all suck ( to me anyways ). So good luck to you all, even tho you should all be finished by now...as I am pretty much always the last one to submit hehe.

!!!!! See you guys in Tokyo, woot!!
That is my best track i think...

except i think its the Test course *drifts of to sleep*

...and plows into the wall at 360km/h
