Weekly Racing Series for Project Cars PS4?Draft

Hey guys,

I've been searching the Project Cars threads but couldn't find one on this topic.

For GT5 and GT6 there was (and still is) the Weekly Racing Series (WRS). I took part for about 2 years and enjoyed it a lot. I wonder, anyone thinking about creating such a series for Project Cars on PS4? I'm looking for a controlled & clean racing series just like the WRS is on PS3.

I reckon it would be a lot easier to create the registry and hold time trials on ps4 due to ease at which we're able to share gameplay. Also live streaming and videos could be a big thing for ps4?

Am I the only one wanting this or did I miss certain threads?

I haven't heard from @Jump_Ace recently about whether he was still pursuing this or not.

I've played it on PC, and the lack of ability to save best-lap replays that contain car setup info and detailed sector and laptimes, sort of killed my interest. :indiff:

Yea, the same thing happened to me too. I tried doing a WRS for Forza 4 and it just wasn't the same, we were forced to know each others full lap times with no information about how you were stacking up during the lap : /

If others chimed in, I think it would go a long ways.

Hi Robert. While they're not exactly what you're after they might fill a bit of time for you.

I set up a couple of time trials with no set end date which are hidden away in the Single Races and Time Trial section. Once the track limit detection is changed in v2.0 we'll consider closing them and running new ones.

So time trial might be an issue due to not seeing the actual split times, but online racing should be doable right? Setting up a Registry would be based on captured gameplay from a Qualifier.

Replays not showing car information shouldn't be a problem right? you can't make a car faster by adding parts, no way to cheat.

Did I forget something?
