Ok, I've had this happen a lot, I wanted to know if the rest of the 1/4 world has had the same experience and is there anything to do about it.

Sometimes when I go get in my car and start a run, I will notice that the car will hit the rev-limiter. I go to the garage and realize the car has gone back to stock tires:crazy:

I have observed that when this happens(after I change the tires back), it will also change my tune or the tune just wont work(with the same numbers). After that I will have to re-tune the car.

This gets utterly annoying having to re-tune my car everyday:grumpy: And it also makes me inconsistent. I know yall are thinking well if you put the same numbers in it should be fine. But for some odd reason it doesn't work that way. After finally getting it to the time I want, the numbers sometimes will be completely different. (Just so you know I'm talking about the trans.)

I honestly don't know what happens but when I get that tire glitch its like the physics of my car completely change. Am I going  ? Cause being inconsistent sure is driving me there:grumpy:

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything I can do about this?

Thanks for the time :gtpflag::cheers:

Did you ever hit the quick save button on the menu? Creating a tune and forgetting to save it might be the problem. Happened with my ACR because I would purchase everything over and over, and I would forget to save.

I hit the save icon religiously, as you stated, I also learned that the hard way:ouch:

Its when I start the next day the tires will be stock. I change them back and go for a run and it will bogg. I will check the trans sometimes the numbers will be the same, sometimes they are not. When they are not it will not be a test run setting (I keep track of everything I do to look for improvement) and it wont be stock either.

My tunes act differently every now and then with the same tune/handling. A quickshifter will randomly decide to be a rideout & vice versa.Might be a bug

That happens a lot to me with the tires, sometimes they are with sport or whatever when I know I was using the car last time online and yesterday went online with a car and I notice it had my road course tune when I haven't use that car in a while for road racing. Weird.

I had a weird bug happen to my Speed 8. I put my quickest setup 317.2mph setup on it. Took her out on the ssrx online to run her on the track and show a few people and the tune didn't work. Would not even hit 220mph before the hill. It usually hits 270 (ish) there. After changing to other tunes and trying them happy that they worked I changed a setting on the tune, changed the tune to a working one, ran it then change back again and the tune started working again. It was an odd occurrence.

I dont know why it would do it for no reason, but I do know that if you drive the car in either A or B spec, or whatever, it tends to reset the tyres and aids back to default... ie. traction control to 5... sports tyres, etc.. which could be throwing you off before you realise it. Just make sure every setting is correct before racing/testing... especially in driver options too.

I've noticed some strange occurrences since about a week ago, something similar to this, it would seem that my car does not want to rev on the line, causing me to stall when trying a set rpm launch. Seems to go away after a few runs though.

The same thing happened to me too. I would launch in full throttle, wait for the ghost and when I launched I bogged. After a few runs it was back to normal, I was confused lol.

I think something triggers it, many weird things happen on GT5, some of which you can use, some work against you, such as this one. GRRRR.

That happens to my ACR every time I pull it out of my garage. For some odd reason it also changes the TC. Instead of having it off its always on 2.

It happened yesterday again on me, in the morning I broke-in my '07 GTR for a comp hostility was hosting, I turned the game off after saving and checking my UCD then in the afternoon when I turn it back on and went to join hostility's room I notice it was missing HP come to find out it was back to 37 miles, what the hell!!!!!!

I don't know:boggled: I think it might be a saving issue. This was my idea, to see if anyone else was having these problems or if the smoke had gotten to me:sly: Hopefully PD, the Mod's or someone else, can shine light on to why this is happening:grumpy:

As you can see spending an hour to break-in a car, just to do it all over again can get really old. Then spending a few hours at SSRX, just to find out, the next morning you have the same tune that you had yesterday, before all the tuning, will drive anybody:crazy:

It could be a saving issue, but it sucks that I have to do it all over again.
