Hey Guys,

Just got back yesterday from a week in Vermont snowboarding - only one major bruise. :ouch: I fell onto another person's snowboard with their edge cutting into my side right at the hip. Felt like I landed on a sharp rock. However, a few Scotch's later and a whirlpool massage gave me enough courage to walk back to the reclining chair and pass out in front of the fireplace. :D

Just arrived in Tokyo this morning. Had a few practice laps and suffered a few more bumps and bruises against the relentless AI, but what a great track this is in reverse 👍 ! Looking to complete this on RM/RM's - anyone try this on RS/RS's?

ERacer

Thanks for the submissions guys!

The results and the new thread will go up tomorrow, too tired to do them now.
Exhausting sitting round waiting for something to happen, only for it not to, init?

Especially if it involves waiting for heart traces to finish, midwives and doctors to make their minds up or taxi's back home.

Neil

Times sent before the results are tabulated may be considered, as I am delaying the results.

Neil will have to make room in his racing den .. the fridge would have to go 1st .

ERacer .. i ran 2 stints on RM's 3 stints on RS's .

Definately!

Not moving the fridge! Need to clear a small corner out, to put the bab's bottle in, but it stays put. My sanity would be at stake otherwise! lol

Results posted and leaderboard updated to reflect fresh points.

Working on the new race now, but back up at DEFCON 2 again, so it might be tonight before I get it posted.

Scooby-dooby-doo!

Neil

Nice results guys. :cheers:
I don't know how many times you did it,but you beat me.
Ran it only once,as I see the results,I was on wrong tyre strategy.
So is life.
Congratulations to the winner.Nice job. :bowdown:

Sorry I didn't make the submission, real life keeps interfering with my virtual racing career :-)
Seeing this low turn out again I'm shooting for the podium next time :-)

Not sure what has been done in this series but Audi A3 at the Ring is a blast

Well done delfino, so thats how you thrash the competition in an enduro :trouble:👍

I'll have to put more effort and time into it in future.

One thing i dont understand though, if the series is run by Tyre King, then where was his submission?

Eh Neil?

:irked:👍

Didn't have the time or concentration to run it this week.
Nether did I manage to do the SGT!

If I can't run in another series that I am committed to, then I shouldn't run in my own.

There's such a thing, as respect for others. Especially friends!

Neils wife is just about to have a baby VEXD .. so i guess he can be excused from racing .. for at least the next few weeks .

Hmmmmm .. shall i take it easy for WES 12 ? Throughly enjoyed racing TOKYO {on my top 5 list of tracks , reverse included}
Suggestion for Neil : when you post the results maybe it'd be a good idea to post what tyre strategy everyone used .

Hey Neil .. was going to PM you but might as well ask you here .

You now use a PS3 ?
Do you have a plasma or LCD tv ?
Whats the contrast ratio and resolution of the tv ? i think you mentioned in another post that it wasnt full HD{1920X1200}
Are you more than happy connecting your PS3 using component cables ? {HDMI}
When GT5 is released {dear GOD .. could it be this year PLEASE .. im sick of waiting} will you then get a full HD tv ?

T.V. is an LG 26" LCD
Contrast ratio is 500:1
Although it is supposed to be only 720i (1280 x 720 & that is what the PC displays at) when I tried the PS3 at 1080i it works using a component cable.
Strangely, the HDMI socket on the TV doesn't work, (or I can't get it to work with the TV is more like it) but I am more than happy with the component cable.

So yes, when GT5 is released I will get full HD for that title. GT5P is BEAUTIFUL!

Neil

Thanks for the info Neil .. do you think GT5 will change your life-style ? or will it just be a case of 'hookedagain' .

Who knows?
But I think not. At the most it will force some of us to have to race at inconvenient times. But that will only happen IF PD provide facilities for private forums in the framework of the PSN system.

If they don't, status quo!

Neil

I'm sure the opportunity for private racing groups will be a given .. a private forum might just be one of the many benefits we are yet to hear about .

For anyone not noticing, the specs for WK 12's race have changed!

Please re-read the main post!
