Good. I honestly think these potential wet races are a really bad idea anyway. The cars are all spec'd for dry running. All the weeks of testing and setup work were done in the dry. It seems completely pointless to make it wet just for the sake of it. The spray and reduced surface grip will only act to ruin what would otherwise have been a competitive dry race.

It's not me being a pussy, scared it's too difficult. I'm actually very good in the wet; my highest ever UK ranking in the seasonal TTs was on a 100% surface water combo. I just think it adds absolutely nothing to the game. And especially not in races when half the field effectively have 'traction control'.

Would a simple publicly viewable poll would be out of the question?

'Would you prefer all the races to be dry? Y/N.

Either that or I'm gonna have to message round and try to form some sort of 'dry drivers union' so we can threaten with strike action for the wet races

Even if we had tested in the wet the 4wd's will always have an advantage on a slippery track unless we gave the rwd's a huge boost so they could keep up and then they would be silly fast in the dry.

Also we don't know how many of the races will be wet as the settings will be set as best we can to simulate the actual weather at the track on the day.

As for the threat of strike on any wet tracks will only disadvantage the drivers that don't attend as they won't score any points for that race and make it even harder to take any of the championships.

Also not wanting to sound like a complete 🤬 but the wather setting has been the same from the day I put it live and only 1 person has voiced a concern so I can be fairly safe to assume that everyone else is happy with the weather settings.

LOUNGE NOW OPEN

Not sure if I can race or not, just had to glue my clamp again. Got to wait for a while for it to set and see if it will hold :(

Just finishing my dinner, I'll get on soon. What time do you reckon we'll finish?

8 people in so far :)

Spec checks are at 10 past
!REMEMBER IF YOU MISS SPEC CHECKS YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO QUALIFY!

10 here for qualifying

race room will allow 10 people unless anyone posts here for a race space!

I had to retire from this one. I was racing terribly (I know I'm not as good as most of the other drivers here, but this was horrendous) so I don't want to cause problems for others.

I also accidentally cut up Mike up on lap 13, I take responsibility for that.

Meh. Next week I won't be so busy and maybe I'll get more than 15 minutes of practice done before the race!

It was a mixed race from me, some great laps.. and some poor ones! The overall pace was there for a definite podium place, don't think I quite had enough for the win, but it's not a track the Viper should do well at so can't complain.

Disappointed to finish 6th, should have been 5th at least but after fighting my way past Jammy, I ended up making a mistake handing the place back to him, nearly caught him again at the very end, but ran out of tyres + laps. I think I lost nearly a minute in mistakes during the race, how different it could have been! But, 1st race for me over 1hr long, so I'm happy to have made it to the end!

The race for me was very hard due to my wheel moving around all over the table every time I tried to turn in. Then when I found a pace where I could drive if I did make a mistake the penalty was worse than normal because I couldn't correct it quick enough :(

Coming in to the race I was confident of a podium but when my clamp went I didn't expect better than top 5. So after all the issues it almost feels like a win :D

Some really good battles through the race but there was times where I was left alone for a while and times where I didn't know where I truly was in regards of pit strategy ETC. :D exactly how it should be 👍

just had a quick look at the weather for Daytona next week.... patchy rain possible, with sunday being moderate / heavy rain.. lets hope the weather is slow....

Sounds like fun, does Daytona have change weather?

ALL STEWARDS HAVE PM'S

Sorry for missing tonight, ended up working later than expected then got caught up sorting tea out - I should be on for next week though

No worries mate, you missed out on a very good race :D

Yeah, a great race,i messed up my tyre choice in what was supposed to be my last stop so take that out the equation and i was gonna be battling with caine and jammy, and would've finished about 1.30ish behind iwin @1.5 secs a lap slower which is bang on expected pace with 1 extra stop compared to iwin....all in a good result i think! 👍 :)

*pinches himself* no of course not.... was one of those im tired so im going to do something stupid moments

I didn't think so, I'm still going to chech just incase you are trying to confuse me into running a dry race when it should be wet

well that guarantee's at least half the races will be dry:

Suzuka -- dry
Daytona -- no weather change
Laguna -- no weather change
Monaco -- no weather change

That sounds fair 👍

I am just about to watch the replay myself and with only 1 incident reported I should be able to get the official result up later today 👍

Stewards about to meet so results will be decided soon.

I have to go out after the stewards' meeting so will post the official results when I get back 👍
