What a difference a GTP Racer makes...

Hey guys, seems to be some very competitive and good sportsmanship racers on here, would love to see some of you on the circuit soon. It would be good to race some skilled players and not worry as much about being trainwrecked by reckless drivers. I finally unlocked quicktune, so I hope to see some of you out there...

Right now I'm TL8705, but I'm going to make a GTP_TL id soon, watch for it!!

met him at suzuka 750pp, wasnt all a dirty driver, just gave me the odd nudge or forced his way through, not like the insanely bad drivers we see...

That doesn't seem like something he'd do, have you PM'd him about it?

About the "incident" itself, could it be that he was already taking the inside of the corner (his "nose" about halfway aside your car) and you didn't gave him enough room?

Anyway, I'm usually ready to assume rubbing is part of racing, unless it's malicious and made in a way that harms the other driver's race.

Great sport. Even dropped his Alfa and came in with an Integra to even things with me 👍 Huge difference from all others, even from those being "clean".

Sorry I had to interrupt that series of races, but my youngest needed a bottle... Oh and sorry if I'm a bit all over the place sometimes. Not 100% used to the track yet, and the car still needs some tweaking. Although it's fast, it's got a bit too much liftoff oversteer.

Going right back in there!

When there's only racing going on I use it. When it's mayhem, or practice runs, I don't.

I don't want my mistakes (or lack of patience to brake for idiots) ruining this forum's rep, nor the (bad) attention some drivers give to me when I use it... Sometimes it's a magnet for blocking moves or brake checks from guys who know they can't win otherwise.

Yeah I know what you mean.

I've had a few races where it seems like I'm a target.
Cars coming at you like guided missiles in turn one :crazy:.

Still the majority of drivers like that are easily out driven in the long run
 
Hey sorry, noob question but what's the easiest way to hold multiple PSN IDs without signing up for another account? I am looking to put the GTP in front of my screenie

Sorry if i hit you too hard, can't even remember driving you. But with the 750pp i'm having a lot of trouble avoiding people in corners.
I can't count how many time i've hit someone in the second half of a corner because i was already accelerating, and the car in front was still braking.
The corner speed between different drivers is very big in 750PP races.

If i hit someone that causes him to loose control i wait.
 
That 750pp Suzuka is tough. I like doing that race for some reason...who knows? But at the same time I find myself in more incedents there than anywere else. Sometimes its my fault and sometimes its not, however I do learn alot from my misstakes and one thing I've really learned is if you can't use your prefered racing line slow down, be paitent. I usually start in the back at the 750pp Suzuka race and that first long right somewhat of a sweeping corner is usually a disaster. Only when I get up in the top 3 or 4 can I take that corner the way I need to and I usually make up alot of time there. I hate running into people on that corner because the sand trap is sooo big and you lose alot of time if you get knocked up there. I guess what I'm trying to say is if more people took that corner more cautiously at the start of the race then I think with more people racing for the top spot, the over all racing experiance would be better instead of playing catch up for three laps. I know I'm not one for words and I hope you all understand what I'm trying to say. Alot of the GTP racers know this already. Yesterday I was racing Moose at Suzuka 750pp and I was right behinde hime going into that first turn and I was able to go in hard and deep without having to worry about hitting him it was good racing. Would have been better if that darn host, can't remember his name...something like "chalk" or something but this guy keep on quiting...anyways I'm done for now...hope to see you all on the track soon!!

The easiest and hardest ways are the same - there is NO way to do it.

New PSN ID = New account.
 
I have yet to see a single GTP driver in any race. I guess I'll just have to hope the private servers are coming. I look forward to the day when we can all race together.

Really? I've seen PonySpanker (he was waiting for me when I'd screw up), Earth, BLugar, even Sphinx and a whole mess of others. Maybe you're just not playing at the right times?
