You know, its all not like South Park dude, if you think that sums up a genre of music, you're an idiot ! I have been on many bands, Christian and non and to be honest, most of the "christian" concerts have gone better...I've played everything from Ska to Punk to alternative, and worship music...Even if you don't believe in God, christianity or anything like that, worship music is very powerful, esp. to experience it where peoples lives are touched....there may be many arguments regarding it being a pychological experience, but so what ??? There is a reason why millions of people listen to it, it is uplifting, sometimes that last thing someone needs in their life is someone else *****ing about their own lives in a song...Also some of the most talented writers / musicians are on the Christian / Worship music Genre....the problem is they don;t get the exposure that a secular band / writer / musician would get...
But if you take care about most pop songs are singing about "girls,babies,love..." do you feel that's boring,too?A little boy can sing about love why can't a group of faithful people can't praise their lord by singing?
