I want less race cars and more fast road cars and current too.
So many good cars missing like RS3's, RS6, M5/M3 touring etc
Aside from being pretty vague here, previous games have had a RS6s and M5s - and we're getting an M5 in one of the two upcoming Spec IV updates.

The purpose of this thread is to post what "all-new" cars - cars that have never been in a GT game before - you would like to see.

I would like to see the Ferrari 512 S to make it run with the 917 we have.

Alfa Romeo 75 turbo evoluzione ( gr.A)

BMW m4 dtm 2019

These were my dream cars back then. Other than the GNX and SN95, the other cars should have made the cut since Gran Turismo 2.

I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment. I feel GT basically pretends any American car from 1974-1996 doesn't exist. I know the malaise era gets it's name for a reason, but there are still some cool cars that deserve the spotlight.

To add some examples myself:

1984-1984 Dodge Omni GLH/GLHS
1000017837.webp

Chryslers answer to the VW Golf GTI, the Omni GLH, and spicier GLHS are pure Sheby Goodness.

1987-1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe
1000017838.webp

Essentially a slightly bigger Mustang SVO, with a slightly detuned version of the same engine.

1989-1993 Ford Taurus SHO
1000017839.webp

While GT has had the late 90s V8 powered SHO, the original, being the fastest FF sedan in the world at time of launch is important enough to get a spot

1989 Pontiac Firebird T/A 20th Anniversary

Take the Buick Grand Nationals V6, combine it with F-body wedgieness, and you have one of the hottest Trans Ams money could buy.

I meant current Rs3, RS6 and i dont think we've ever had the E61 M5 touring?
And I did state M3 touring too, which we obviously don't have.
Just to add to the list, 850R and Audi sport quattro would be fantastic.

Then please say that in the first place.

That's correct, but the structure of your post does not make it clear that the M5 Touring (and the E61 at that; there's one on the current platform, and BMW made a prototype on the E39 platform) is what you're listing.
And I did state M3 touring too, which we obviously don't have.
You did and, because we obviously haven't had one yet, I didn't note that one at all.
Audi sport quattro
Of which we do have one derivative, so this is again too vague.

It doesn't take much to make it clear and obvious what cars you're talking about, and to check which ones fit the thread's purpose.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio QV or Veloce.. I know it won't be popular opinion, but I think it's best handling SUV ever made since it has Giorgio platform and also I own one irl so that's main reason lol

Iam all for new race cars. We already have alot of road cars through all the updates. And alto GT will get 30 next year and a potenial gt8 not coming out before the end of 2028. I really wish for those cars to make a arrival. PD can also make them as a dlc, i dont care ;).

I would pay hard cash for that. Also more bodykits for road cars and a function to build proper race cars out of them like in gt5 and gt6 .But before that, PD should maybe update rework their classes. The problem with road cars and almost 80 percent of the cars is that you dont get a chance to use them properöy like in the older titles. You by then and tune them but after that? Of course you can create custom championchips etc, but thats not the point. Like in the old Procjet cars titles, PD should create maybe 4 classes for road cars, sportscars and hypercars.

These would all be Gr. 2 prototypes designed to compete against the Toyota GT-One. I'm surprised the Oreca 07 is rarely mentioned here.

The Panoz and the can easily be in Gr.1. But the gr. 2 and Gr 1 are already broken as i said countless times in other forums. PD can and should easily create 3-5 groups out of it and V-GT in seperate groups. Carewise, i think that early 00´s prototyps will never make a comeback in Granturismo. The Oreca o7 on the other hand maybe could appear in the future, or i wish i hope. I wonder why there are no proper LMP2 Cars in GT7. LMP2 are on of the more popular classes in LMU and Iracing

As far as LMP2 cars go, only the Nissan Academy car has been seen in the GT franchise.

I guess the reason for a lack of LMP2s, whether in GT, Forza, or whatever is that most of them are customer platforms built by dedicated race car manufactures, that then have an engine dropped in, rather than a factory backed race car backed by a name brand auto manufacture.

It's easier to justify a BMW or Porsche prototype than a Oreca or Ligier. The former simply has the brand name recognition and as such is easier to market to a general audience, while the latter is only really known by diehard motorsports enthusiasts, hence only really being seen in games marketed towards hardcore racing fans.

People forget that the hardcore/sport mode audience that would appreciate an LMP2 is still relatively niche in GT, even with the emphasis placed on them via GT Sport - there is a reason most update cars are some form of road car - that is what GT is built upon after all.

I am still surprised that we dont have that Oreca or Ligier especially since it was a GT movie hero car lol

1 car would be enough for LMP2 and LMP3

A while ago I suggested for Kaz several WEC cars, including several American [including Acura if it is American & not Japanese?] WEC cars but I don't remember if it was Hypercar or LMP or GTP etc. They did not arrive yet. But perhaps in 2027? Cadillac have the only American competitive hypercar? There's also rumors that Ford will make a Hypercar to compete against Ferrari in 2027. If true, then Kaz&PDI will get loads of suggestions to add the new Ford hypercar!

But my two suggestions here is a Cadillac hypercar from 2024 or newer & Acura hypercar from 2025 or newer.
Edit; or preferably from 2026 but if the cost for PDI much higher than a few years back then obviously we like the 2 year old WEC cars as much as this years model???

Yeah, believe it or not, decisions about car content and licensing doesn't rest on a random Tweeter.

Rumours?

Rumours?!

After serious consideration, I think that only 4 more WEC cars needs to be added to GT7 by December 2027, Toyota TR010 2025/2026, Acura LMDH 2025/2026, Cadillac WEC 2025/2026 & the most important, Ford Le Mans 2027!

Unless.. McLaren decides to compete in Le Mans or other WEC events in 2027.

Edit: As usually I didn't care to check all my postings in this thread in case I mentioned these cars earlier, but this post covers at least most my WEC car wishes but only until December 2026? Not 2027? We'll have to wait and see.

Not all of them are concept cars or strange cars (you can forget those if you want but they can be interesting but very odd ) But They Do Have A Sport Car Section With Production Cars :) . I would love if some were added to the games .

I would also like some more VGC like each car make would have 1 of them but ONLY ONE (VGC)not multiple from now on.

I have a feeling i'm going to be MURDERED for liking VGC .

Here are some cars that might be very interesting for the game if they came to the GT series .

Can you be considerably more specific, as those links seem to include cars that are already, and have previously been, in Gran Turismo, therefore ineligible for this thread. Not to mention just linking to encyclopedic sites is hardly within the spirit of the thread.

I'm not sure what "VGC" is in order for people to murder you for liking.
