How does the car famously designed for Gran Turismo 5 qualify as a car new to the Gran Turismo series?
well..I didn't say 2014 or 2010..Just redbull x fan car...it can be from 2030 hybrid version of it..and then it will be new 😁

For the comments above, the Primera was in every mainline GT game between 1 & 6. With the Nissan badge, it was only rebadged as an Infiniti for GT2 & 4 just for the North American market. GT5 & 6 had the Infiniti too, but also had the Nissan badged version. Because PD just decided to place every regional variant of each car in both games.

EDIT
I posted below my wishes before I completely looked all through the pages before and I see the enormity of the task of getting some of these wonderful cars to GT7.
There are so many of us that want that "special" car that is personal to us or that really one of a kind rarity car, but one has to think what PD has to do to get that car digitized and the data input to the software, that takes hours and money for licenses and copyrights (not sure)
What I do propose is that culturally significant cars in racing, and sportscars should be considered. If there was to be wished cars included for everyone who posted here there will be over 2000 cars. Yes I wish some of my favorites could be added but looking at the bigger picture I doubt any of mine will be there...

Lotus 29 at Goodwood FOS 2012.jpg

I would love to see 60's F1 like the Lotus 29, other significant racing marques of the same time period, more of the older JDM cars ie. Mazda 110, early nissan skylines, Toyota 2000GT.
I pre-ordered the 25th anniversary pkg, and knowing there will be "used" cars I am really hoping that those older cars will appear in the used car dealership.
Older UK and Euro cars too like from Lotus, TVR, BMW, Volvo p1600, Cortina, and others in the similar time frame.
Thank you for listening.

Which is in previous GT games, so not all-new.
early nissan skylines
Many of which are in previous GT games, so not all-new.

Which is in previous GT games, including GT Sport, so not all-new.

Many of which, although you've not specified any particular cars, are in previous GT games, so not all-new.

This thread is for "all-new" cars
What all new cars do you want to see in GT7? (All new meaning never seen before in the franchise)

This thread is for "all-new" cars
Did you get to read the complete post, I had edited and added a good opinion about considering the culturally significant cars of racing history. Also 95% of posts are lists of not so new cars...

Audi S4 b5/b6
Merc e55 w210
Mazda NC
Mazda rx8
i see what you did there futurama GIF

Did you get to read the complete post
Yes. There wasn't that much of it. Didn't take long. None of it makes the fact you suggested cars inappropriately for the topic of the thread okay.

Are you attempting to say you're allowed to ignore the purpose of any thread if you decide that what you're saying has cultural relevance? If not, what is the relevance of this?
Also 95% of posts are lists of not so new cars...
Firstly, the excuse "everyone else was doing it, so I did it too" isn't even worthy of junior school. More importantly though, it is an absolutely outrageous lie, given that I monitor this thread extremely closely (due to spammers apparently loving it for some reason) and frequently post to remind people of the literal point of this thread and delete posts that ignore it.

The last time I posted about this was on December 30th on this page, and before that it was December 18th. There are also five other deleted posts on this page from users ignoring it... and the spammers.

I've probably made more than that missing 5% of posts in this thread (that's one in 20; there's 30 posts per page and I've made three on this page alone, which is one in 10) reminding people who didn't bother reading any part of it, so you're trying to suggest that every post made by someone other than me in a thread I monitor to keep on-message is in fact off-topic.

That's pure nonsense.

So do you want to try that one again, accepting you made a mistake by not reading the title or the opening post or anything in indigo from a site admin reminding people of the point of the thread and accepting that I reminded you of it, or do you want to dig a deeper hole for yourself?

"All-new cars" - cars that have never been in a Gran Turismo game before - only. It's not that hard.
