What all new cars do you want to see in GT7?

Does anyone even own the rights to some of these cars, like Stutz? They've been defunct for over 80 years.

Currently I’m not sure. But Stutz was revived in the 1960’s and was around until the 1990’s. Obviously there are ways to license defunct car brands in games.
Hudson was in GT6. Hudson was part of AMC which was purchased by Chrysler. Same goes with brands like Plymouth.
The 1952 Cunningham C4R that won the GT Pebble Beach award obviously is from a defunct brand but is supposedly coming to a Gran Turismo game. I’m not sure who owns the rights to Cunningham.

Sadly The RR Silver Ghost won't happen because RR, being RR, decided they don't wanna be in racing games anymore.

Well, Forza has managed to bring cars from the 20’s and 30’s in their games with damage. I don’t see why PD couldn’t do the same with older vehicles.

Actually, that's always been an issue, visible car damage. Kinda not sure why that is, but it is.
Might be similar to how some musicians don't want their music in certain games due to X/Y/Z reasons.
(usually all unfounded or harmless overall reasons)

If only for lulz, I wanna see some of those custom-built dirt bruiser cars with lopsided rear wings.

I mean these:

(Yeah these weird-arse mfs lolz )

Despite being a very famous Ferrari model, it has never been featured in a racing game. That would be a very neat addition.

This car is the ultimate vehicle for scapes.

Is it so? Strange, The 275 GTB/4 is a very beautyful car and, like you said, famous so I can't understand why it never has featured in a game... It was a very good racing car too!

And about The Bugatti, its fast too, so it must be a fun car to drive around The track!

A Brabham BT62 would be really neat, although I won't hold my breath, Australian cars getting in to Forza are a complete rarity.

I wanna see the first of the Honda S series (I believe it was the S50?), because those cars were something else. Not fast or agile by any means but definitely not something to sneeze at either.

And if we get a Plymouth Fury, I hope PD pays tribute to the cult classic by giving reference to Christine.

I would like to see Vector and Venturi both return, but as they've only featured in 1 game, and that was on the PS1, I doubt it will happen. Would be nice though.

Mate it's a 15 year old car.
I'm missing something.
2017 Panoz Avezzano
Is it just refurbushed?
Edit: the race car also fits into the year ranges of your post

2017 & 2018 Seasons

In the 2017 season, the new-to-the-range Panoz Avezzano was launched with Ian James behind the wheel of the #50.

This, from December 2019, is saying it's new

He likely is confusing it with the old Panoz Esperante GT2 racer from the mid 2000s. They're very similar cars in terms of outward appearances

Oh no doubt. I knew I saw this newer car, but didn't know if the cars had a freshen up or if they were brand new.

I guess it's how a 911 still looks like a 911, but newer.

Perfect combination for Panoz to be eligible in the Manufacturers' Cup in Sport mode. Besides the Esperante GTLM, the Abruzzi would be a great Gr. 3 companion to it.

In general I’d like them to focus more on legendary and/or iconic cars.

Take BMW for example. Why is the i3 present in GT Sport while the M1, E28 M5 and E36 M3 is not? Polyphony has always been weird in this regard, and focused on including boring cars that no one gives a **** about, instead of cars that everyone wants. I know that some say this is what makes GT stand out and what makes it great and what not, but I just think it’s frustrating.

A lot of very nice and interesting cars in this thread.
I 'am quiet desperate to drive the latest Lotus range in Gran Turismo. And more particularly the Ultimate Exige. The 430 CUP.

If you like Le Mans racers from the 60', this might be the closest modern car that give you such feeling. 430 BHP V6, less than 1100 Kg (wet), unassisted steering, manual gearbox with gear linkage mechanism from heavens, and an exhaust sound to die for (107 db stock!).
Project Car III got the license for this thing. Hope GT could get it too...

If you want to learn more about this car:
