MINI Challenge. We had a good amount of MINIs in GT6, but no real "race car" series.
GT Sport have a MINI challenge event, but mixing the years doesn't give the same feel.

Funny that we have had some MINI/Mini '65 Daily Races and the one Mini '65 tuned race. Hope to see this in the game:

Yes, I don't know why PD are always so wide of the mark in this regard. Spec mini racing with lightly modified race models has been a thing for decades, but apparently not on PDs radar. Same goes for many other race series, spec or otherwise, that they could emulate with their current line-up but don't.

Plus the VGT race car. No interior, but there's another missed opportunity. Not even an FIA Nations One Make event.

This is unlikely, but at least for F1, some of what I want are the following (sorted by brand):
Ferrari:
  • 312T2 (Lauda, Villeneuve)
  • F2004 (Schumi)
  • F2007 (Raikkonen) - appeared in GT5
  • F10 (Alonso) - appeared in GT5
  • SF71-H (Vettel)
  • SF90 (Leclerc)
McLaren:
  • M23-D (Hunt)
  • MP4/2C (Prost)
  • MP4/4 (Senna)
  • MP4-13 (Hakkinen)
  • MP4-20 (Raikkonen)
  • MP4-23 (Hamilton)
Renault:
  • Williams FW14B (Mansell)
  • Benetton B195 (Schumi)
  • Williams FW18 (Hill)
  • R26 (Alonso)
  • Red Bull RB9 (Vettel)
  • Red Bull RB10 (Ricciardo)
Mercedes:
  • Brawn BGP-001 (Button)
  • W07 (Rosberg)
  • W08 (Hamilton) - appeared in GTS
BMW:
  • Brabham BT52 (Piquet)
  • Williams FW25 (Montoya)
  • F1.08 (Kubica)
Honda:
  • BAR 006 (Button)
  • Red Bull RB16B (Verstappen)
Lotus:
  • 72 (Rindt, Fittipaldi)
  • 97T (Senna) - appeared in GT6
  • E20 (Raikkonen)

I think I'd be entirely fine if we just had the W08, 97T, and both the F2007 and F10, as far as Formula One goes. Maybe I'd also add Fraga's Formula 3 car, as well as have the other two Senna cars return. Plus there was the SF19, which I'd definitely keep. An Indycar could be neat, too. Maybe even a more unusual F1 car, like the Alfa Romeo-Brabham fan car, or one of the few F1 cars powered by a Lamborghini engine. Personally, I'd love a 1960s F1 car, like a Honda or Lotus, maybe both. To be honest, I think one per decade would suffice, with the 1990s, 1970s, 1960s, and 1950s being the notable eras that are exempt. Perhaps for that last one, a classic Bugatti grand prix car would be ideal, and an old Mercedes-Benz machine to compliment it.

Ferrari 355, 550, 575, 360, 430
Lambo: all kinds of Diablo and Gallardo models

I don't think we need that many Gallardo/Diablo models. I'd pick both the Diablo GT and GT2 that's been in the series so far, but also the pre-facelift version of the Diablo SV, as I believe the GT and GT2 are based on the post-facelift versions. Meanwhile, as for the Gallardo, I think the 2nd-gen Gallardo we have is a good start, but I'd also compliment it with the first-gen Gallardo Superleggera, and then the LP560-4 Edizione Technica - the latter is technically still part of the second-generation, but I think it looks different enough from the more typical second-gen car that's already been in the series insofar that I'd include it.

This, of course, is before we get into racecars - I'd add the JGTC Diablo we've seen for much of the Gran Turismo series, as well as a GT3-spec Gallardo to compliment the GT3 Huracan. I am, however, unsure if the JGTC Diablo would go into Gr.2 or Gr.3, as this particular Diablo does have a power figure comparable to the Aston Martin DBR9, which is indeed classified as being within Gr.3.

As for Ferrari, I think it'd be perfectly acceptable to bring back the F430 and F430 Scuderia, as well as the SP1. (I'm especially fond of that last one.) I am unsure about the other models, but I would certainly endorse bringing in the 360. But I'm unsure if the game would truly benefit from including both the 550 and 575, as they fulfilled the same niche in Ferrari's lineup. I think I'd slightly prefer the 550, if only because I have memories driving it in NFS: Hot Pursuit 2. Why not, instead of both the 550 and 575, something like the FF or GTC4Lusso, or the F12, or maybe a truly classic model, like the Testarossa or perhaps one of the many models from the 50s, 60s, or 70s?

Well, wonder if this is considered 'new', but I would like to have a road version of the Group 4/Group 3 spec NSX. Everyone wanted Honda to build a RWD version of the NSX, but Honda refused. But GT can make this dream come true; this isn't the first time PD built a fantasy version of the NSX to their desires.(Remember the NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car?)

If they want to sell copies: the latest supercars. The car list is so outdated, the Ferrari 458 Italia is two gen old...
If they want me to buy the ultra deluxe premium editions, the car models in the background :

As it is set in GT Sport the gr.4 Veyron is quite pointless and too heavy in my opinion.

They wanted to keep and simulate the fact it has still the w16 engine in it which in my mind makes no sense in a car with less than 500 BHP.

À gr.4 Veyron with an (quite restricted) aero package and a V8 from Audi sounds like a better option to me.

For a gr.3 Bugatti I'd really wish both :
- Bugatti Divo race car (set by Polyphony)
- EB 110 LM
I would love to see the EB110 LM, although I would not like it to be like the F1 GTR, as that feel pretty close to the same as the other GT3 cars IMO

I wonder how dead brands could be handled? I don't think it'd be an issue, as the rights to those dead companies usually just go to their owners, right? So I think for Saturn, SAAB, and Pontiac, those would belong to GM, right? I'm not 100% sure about SAAB, though. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a Saturn Sky alongside a Pontiac Solstice - or at least the production version of the latter, as it had previously appeared in GT4 in concept form. There were also the many classic muscle cars put out by Pontiac, and I don't think Plymouth should be an issue either, being owned by FCA. Or whatever it is now - did they merge with PSA yet? Anyway, Pontiac and Plymouth have certainly appeared in GTS, but I'm just not sure about vehicles that'd be new to the franchise. I suppose we could examine the latest Forza games for examples of what can or cannot be done. If T10 can do it, I don't see why PD couldn't.

Of course, I wouldn't mind Chrysler being absent, though I suppose of the few cars I'd want, they'd be four cars previously seen in GT6, except in premium version. They were the PT Cruiser, a 300C, the Prowler, and the Crossfire. I cannot think of any other Chrysler models that I'd want. Maybe a newer version of the 300C, but I'd be fine with the 2005 model that was in GT6.

Some form of the Porsche Boxster, which if I'm not mistaken has never featured in a GT title aside from Ruf versions. Yeah I get that the Cayman is the more track-focused of the pair, but that hasn't sopped GT from featuring many convertible variants of other cars.

I'd really love to see some of the 70's 800-1000 HP CanAm racecars, back when cars were low, tires wide and engines loud.

Like the mcLaren M8F, the Shadow DN4 and the March Chevrolet 707.-

And then the Toyota 7 should be brought out of retirement and refurbished to PS5-spec "hyper-premium" modeling quality to compete against these monster machines.

I wouldn't object if PD made a fantasy F3000 car.
Me neither, plus a fantasy Formula 2 car as a more modern counterpart. As far as I'm concerned PD could even recycle engine sounds for it and I would not care, as long as the physics and the power output are accurate. I often found myself wanting to take an open wheeler for a spin, but a less extreme version than the Formula Gran Turismo, the Ferrari F1 or the Lotus.

Everything from Koenigsegg and Tesla. I'm actually very curious about a VGT model from Tesla... Besides those my top 10 is:

Alpina B12 5.7 coupe
BMW X5 V12 Le Mans
BMW 760i F01
BMW 750i E39
BMW 440i Gran Coupe
Audi S8 V10
Mercedes S65 AMG
Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge
Brabus G800
Jaguar XJR 4.2 SC

That's was the cool thing about GT2. So many sedans and wagons. Hope we see a return of these type cars.
I agree it was cool that GT2 featured many of those types of cars and that they were period accurate e.g from the '90s. GT could use more modern Sedans and Wagons. Audi RS6 Avant, Nissan Altima, etc.

Perhaps, but I’d rather have the Cayman, if only to have a road-going version of the GT4 Clubsport we have in Gr.4. Plus there seem to be more interesting variants of the Cayman than the Boxster.

I think the car I’d love the most is a Volvo 850 sedan - my father drove one for a while, before selling it. I even remember him driving me to middle school in it. Either that, or the car he currently owns: a Genesis G80 Sport. That could be an excellent competitor to say, the BMW M5.

Not sure what you mean. The Boxster & Cayman have basically been equivalent models since the Cayman debuted - what variant of the Cayman does not have an equivalent in roofless form? To me the Boxster Spyder is more interesting and certainly better looking than any Cayman, but I'm biased. I'd love to see a Spyder in GT7.

Boxster Base (All) - Cayman Base (All)
Boxster S (All) - Cayman S (All)
Boxster Spyder (987) - Cayman R (987)
Boxster GTS (981/982) - Cayman GTS (981/982)
Boxster Spyder (981/982) - Cayman GT4 (981/982)

No doubt we'll see more Porsches in Gran Turismo 7. I'd definitely expect a Boxster. Hopefully we'll get the top up/down option from GT4. If PD model it as top down only, I'm fine with that too.

Edit: Every time I see this car, I needs it.

Was too surprised when we got the current Crown. Wanted to get last year's Super Taikyu car, but I'll have this one too.
