I have always wanted to drive a Mercedes W114 Coupe (or Sedan, for that matter) in the GT series. I've always had a soft spot for them.

Yes, please. There are so many great Mercedes-Benz Classics i would like to see in GT7. Here‘s another one:

After watching this video last night:

I think a Fox Body Mustang would be a cool addition. Taking a look at the Gran Tourismo Wiki page, a Fox Body has never been in any version of the game. Considering how this generation of the car was a part of DTM racing history, I think it is deserving of being in the game.

Opel Ascona B 400 Group 4 Rally Car ‘82

Now that we have Opel back in GT, I’d love to see PD add the 1982 Ascona 400 Group 4 Rally Car which gave Walter Röhrl his second WRC driver’s championship in the first ever year of Group B rally racing, beating out the monstrous Audi Quattro in its debut season along with rally legends Michèle Mouton and Hannu Mikkola.

PD has done a very good job in doing the 80s turbo hatchback segment and indeed the European economy car segment justice so this has a great field of rivals already in game, and it would be great to see another Abarth get added into the game as well. A good example of 80s style and quirkiness that competed against cars like the Golf, Escort, and Renault 14, this would add to a good selection of Italian turbo boxes already in the game like the A112 Abarth, and the Delta Integrale.

Abarth Fastback and Abarth Pulse. The south american Abarths.

Pulse even participated in the last 1000 Miles of Interlagos race, where it finished third in the T2 category and 28th overall.

It would be great to test them in the game since we don't have many Abarths in our portfolio.

That newly-revealed Genesis Magma GT looks really cool, and doubly-so if Genesis takes it GT racing, as it could make for a great alternative Gr.3 pick for them!

EDIT: On the subject of Korean cars, I'd similarly love to see the first-generation Hyundai Pony Sedan. I think it looks really cool, despite not being the Pony Coupe concept from '74. I think the mass-produced sedan version was still designed by Giugiaro, right?

With the GP-Tuned and D-Tuned this is the closest(since Racing Modifications in GT2) that we're getting to these classic Japanese race cars. Hoping we'll see more of this in the near future.

Don’t know why we’re not seeing many classic Mazdas in GT7.

They really should add rally cars the new ones and the Audi Quattros in group b and also more of rally. Also , the new gt3s are a good start, more of that and maybe add the newer Le Mans prototypes like the 499p and the Cad V series.. And they should add the YangWang U9X and the Link&Co TCR. Also the ford supervan seems like a good idea. Also where is the Bentley Continental gt and any lotus?

I've probably mentioned many cars already in this thread, but some new ones [I haven't mentioned earlier] is most cars in the TCR categories including the European & the World Touring car classes, or that we get drivetrain swap which means much easier to modify an existing similar car into the TCR classes.
And a few more [fantasy] VGT cars which looks similar to race cars in WEC series which are from 2020 to 2025. I.e. the Ferrari VGT is a good/decent substitute for the 499P.
