What all new cars do you want to see in GT7?

With all these six-cylinder small two-door sedans & coupes in the game the Capri would be the perfect addition.

It’s confusing as to why it’s not in game and hardly in any games. But then again, I drove one in high school and nobody knew what it was. They’re pretty rare around here. Hardly ever see them driving around.

I like smaller cars like that, Capri, Monza, Maverick, Cortina, Escort, Opel GT… so many. The 1969 Fairlady is one of my favourite in the game, you can just throw parts at that car and it always drives nice.

I'm sure someone has posted this here before, but the DC5 is a car that should be in GT7:

The 87 MOTUL Civic Si was a blast to drive. This thing definitely needs to make a comeback!

I would love to see the first and 2nd gen CRX make a comeback also!

As those are both cars from previous GT games (somewhat given away by the screenshot directly from GT6), they don't exactly meet the thread's sole criterion of cars that have never been in a GT game before...

Ah, understood. Sorry about that. I guess I'm reminiscing a bit on the old days. Let me add a proper contribution; I would really love to finally have a E36 M3 in Gran Turismo.

It's absolutely beyond me how PD hasn't yet added the Tojota Century.
A V12 monster luxury sedan from the 90's with technology on board that even nowadays many manufacturers can only dream of.
So weird 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wussup!

As much as I loved seeing the Chevrolet C8 base model, I'm pretty sure a lot of people took a good look at it and saw that GM was saving up the ace up its sleeve. Normally the base corvette model is the cooler variant, being a much more all-around crowd pleaser with less flair and less boy-racer attitude, however...

The C8 base model is a bit unfortunate in that sense, and the C8 Z06 turned out to be the true supercar that looks to play the part properly. This being Chevrolet's first attempt at making a real supercar with true racing technology within the ticking bits such as a flat-plane crank and finger followers.... any chance anybody else feel it's worth looking at the true contender that Chevy has managed to build to take on the world of supercars???

I would say this car has truly earned the name of supercar within what Chevy has to offer....
It's starting to make waves in the Nurburgring too according to some famous YouTube characters.

Can we? can we? can we???
Preetty pleeeaseee :D

When the C7 debuted in GT6 we got the base model. Plus some special edition livery and Gran Turismo models. We did get the Gr.3, Gr.4 and ZR-1 the two recent games. GT7 seem to be adding several trim and performance variants of the same model. I’d say it’s possible PD add the C8 ZO6 in GT7(imagine the E-Ray before that :sly: ). We’ll see.

If there’s one car that I would love and has never been in a GT game, it would the Mugen RR.

Based on the FD2 Type R, the Mugen RR has carbon fiber front and rear bumper, carbon fiber good, CF RECARO seats, and more. Power was pushed to almost 240HP out of an NA 2.0l four cylinder.

Only 300 were ever made. 299 sold in Japan and for some random reason 1 sold in Malaysia.

This needs to be the game.

Will always miss my ‘69 Cutlass ‘S’.

I’m playing PC2 and using the Audi V8 Quattro. Had a look at the Suggestions thread to see if I voted for it. I somehow, didn’t. I’ve clicked it now and scrolled to see this post and video within. few of the cars Kaz drove, have been in GT games, the V8 Quattro needs to be in. Cool stuff.

Just to add to the V8 Quattro DTM(would be nice to compliment the Gr.4 155 and an alternative to the TT Cup if we don’t see. Gr.4 R8). I’d like to see the 200 Quattro.

If we wouldn’t get the V8 Quattro(why not both? gif), having the 200 Quattro with an R8 swap would be the PD thing to do.

You forgot the capri haha

Look I can appreciate the GAC Maverick. While we can even replicate a drag car

I’d still like to see a plain Jane version just to give me skinnier tyres.

Or the Sung Kang build

Many of these custom builds just have to keep tubbing rears and use over wide width tyres. Trust I get needing maximum grip for two wheel drive one thousand horsepower.

When I saw the maverick in an update I was pumped but then saw it was the restomod type. I drive it now, detuned. It’s not quite them same because it’s still fast but bone stock the way it was… it was tough to save if it got loose although I think that’s a problem with the game. You can sometimes visually see you’re about to lose it before you even feel it in the wheel.

Yeah I detuned it to run with cars from the Seventies, but sometimes it looks out of place with those rear tyres. Still love it as it’s a car from my birth year. ;)
Yeah you gotta do what you gotta do haha. We’ve got so many cars already, the more I think about it, from this point on I’d like to have car packs but categorized not just Willy Nilly mixes of cars. But legit here’s 70’s European Sports cars, escort, cortina, capri, opel gt, manta… that would be wicked.

Indeed. We see the two 02 BMWs and Celica GT. May as well group them in one update. Rather than add the new to the game 2002 tii one month and two years later add the 2002 turbo. Could have added the Chevelle with GTO and Charger as a muscle car update or GNX, GTO and Chevelle as a gm(GM) update.

I suspect then A LOT of people that hate the old “crappy” handling cars would really be upset and then the next month I’d be upset over a bunch of new bleh cars and VGT’s haha. With a pack it’d be like, don’t like it? Don’t buy it.

I love me some 3 body sedans...

I grew up in the 80s, never really understood cars from previous eras, but as I grow up, nowadays I am finding myself loving more the older girls ;)

But one thing is for sure, I have always loved since childhood the distinct 3 box body car design, I cannot help it, I like big boxes:

1963 Chevy Nova

1973-74 Jag XJ6L my personal favorite since daycare:

1977 Chevy Nova (really love this)

And you all know, these a great for Cruising, but also they can handle huge power....

You guys were talking about Ford without mentioning this ?
