What and how do you get 'tickets'

I've read several times where someone says they get a car for say level 12 ticket. Are they saying they get a ticket to pick out a car? Or is it just winning a car? I'm level 16 right now and have never noticed any tickets...

you get them for beating the complete series events in both A-spec and B-spec (beginner,amateur,professional,expert,extreme)

Also you get one for driving a distance of 2000km, or entering 100 races, whichever comes first.

ohhhhhh so I'll have to complete all the amateur events and I get a ticket? Do I get to purchase any car with this ticket or is it just like winning a car at the end of an event?

I think the 2000km or 100 races ticket is race specific, I've gotten 3 of those so far so i can only assume that if you grind a specific race enough times you'll earn the ticket
