Getting ready to run the 10 lap Suzuka race now, after that I still have to 10 lap Silverstone and 24 minutes of Spa left to do.

Taking a break from the career progression and finally painting, styling and testing out cars that i hadn't so far as i know have enough credits to do so :)

I just unlocked and golded the IA license and race missions , now i'm completing IB races before jumping to the higher level

Used the Maxda RX7 LMRC with RM tires on 10 lap Suzuka, upgraded turbo but power limited down to 600PP. Turned out to be to much car, easy win.

I'm mainly going through career mode and going for gold on everything. Have all gold up to the Miata one-make race in NA class so far. Also building my friend's cars when I have spare money. Need to get to building my own at some point. I've picked up an R32 GTR for my first all-out build.

With all licenses done, levels unlocked, spending time enjoying all these great new tracks...
...testing and racing what seem to be born-again LMPs, GT3, GT500, and GT300 cars...

...not to mention the Rocket car, X-bow, Caterham with upgraded dash, fabulous muscle cars like the Pozzi Camaro...

The new physics and weight transfer effects are great, love the new racing brakes too.
Had to turn FFB down a notch to 5 on T500.

Drive, drive, drive, Stats says 5K miles logged since last Friday... :dopey:

unrelated question: how do I change the FFB settings in game?

I think I know what you mean about the LMPs, etc... Seems the handling on them is a lot better than it was...only driven a couple so far but lookin good sofar!

Yes, the physics are way better, feels more connected to the road, way better feel for the tires.
Loving the updated Laguna graphics too.

The GT3 Series with BMW Z4, then doing enough to get 25 stars to unlock the final Championship and S Class license tests I can fully open up the game.

Raced online last night. 600pp. Best race for me was La Sarthe at night. Most of us were racing the beautiful and powerful and track hugging Honda HSV-010. Last lap closing in on the S curves and three Hondas bunched tight! Now that was racing!!!

Today spent time knocking out the IB races. Only two sets of those to go. Almost 400 stars earned.

Just did the X1 at goodwood, what a trip. that car is a handful on that tight little track. After 3 tries I swicthed it to automatic trans so I could focus more on steering and less on shifting then managed to get the gold on the second try, The car feels better on GT6 than it did on 5.

Was on good wood trying to get a gold with the audi R18 until I realized the prize car would be a GT Citroen I stopped and it was pissing me off I still couldn't get gold I'm done.

Finally golded all the races from Novice to IB. Have about 35 stars in IA. That's gonna take a couple weeks to finish. Anyone know if finishing most or all the races in IA will open up S? I got by the first four S license exams having a hard time with the Bugatti at Ascari.

If you're talking the GT by Citroen then go for it. Bought that car and it is MUCH improved!

Have half the events of IA and S left. Struggling with those Go karts in IA at the moment. I hate those things. Will probably move on and not spend to much time on them. When all IA and S events are finished I'm going to do each section's driving missions and one make races. Then it's on to the hard yards with testing cars and just having fun with them.

Monday I got the last of the skill-based trophies (I was so excited I couldn't even get to sleep that night LOL) so now I'm just relaxing and really enjoying the game. I still need to get the trophies for driving 2,000 and 7,000 miles, buying 50 and 100 cars, and spending 2 million on tuning. And I need to buy some more driving suits.

Last night I bought the cheapest Zonda and used that for the MR races in National A (or whatever class it's in). I've only done the first two Special class races, multiple times for the money, and am really looking forward to the login bonuses and increased payouts because I think I need some better cars to keep proceeding through those events. I'm going back and doing a bunch of races I skipped, I've got half the National A and most of the International B and A and Special events left to do. I'm just skipping around and doing whatever strikes my fancy.

Did that seasonal event with the new BMW but could only manage a silver. That car is so frustrating, the back end just spins out totally unexpectedly. I did get gold in the 15th anniversary one in the Tesla though. Haven't done the other two yet.

I was having trouble with the 100 Kart at Kart Space. Golded the other two. Left the Kart Championship alone until I finished everything else in IB. Did that and went back to the 100 Kart. Took about 10 times to get the hang of it. Started following the other Karts to get a feel for the turns. Finally was able to Gold it. Then went straight to the Championship in IB. First race is the Kart Space. So having just golded it in NA it was easy in IB. I would say follow the other karts and get a feel for how the turn.

at 10000km/s trying to unlock my last trophy to platinum lol. so running laps around daytona in the redbull with rubberband trick while im at work :P

Downloading the update  But really, when I finish updating, Ford GT from GT5 is coming back stronger in GT6! Just have to rework everything, and I'm perfectly okay with that.

Enjoying "Fully" tuned BMW 2002 Turbo '73 (500pp), excellent on SM and SS tires on Ascari (lapping 2.16 on SS, 2.18 on SM, no abs etc. few sec will go faster when learning more).
Just finished Licence Tests (S), all Gold without ABS or any Aid, hardest was Dino on ApricotHill, second hardest was Lambo on Brands Hatch and Bugatti on Ascari.

Building up mileage the old-fashioned way towards 'Autobarmy'; only trophy left for the plat. About 3,800 miles left to go.

How many miles required for that trophy?

I am currently setting at 5,136 miles
