I just discovered this artist: Jim Sullivan. He made two albums. First was U.F.O. in 1970 on the small Monnie label, but it was made with top of the line LA session musicians.
The second album from 1972 was self-titled and released on Playboy Records.
He disappeared in 1975 and was never seen again. In 2011 Light in the Attic Records re-released U.F.O. on CD and LP, but not, for some reason, his second album. They're both excellent. It's a shame he couldn't get signed to a major label considering singer-songwriters like him were all the rage in the early '70s.
