Driving home music.

I just listened to their first three albums and they're all funky.

Considering these bands were all I listened to in the late 90's and early 2000's, I have no idea how this song never came up. At least not that I remember.

I can't remember the last live song I've heard that was that well balanced, especially for the era. Great job, whoever was running the mixer!

Lately for the past week, I have been listening to a soundtrack courtesy from "Punishing: Gray Raven" and Vanguard Sound (highly regarded in the Eastern gaming scene):

I had my first listen to Roger Water's "Dark Side of the Moon Redux" album last night...

When I first heard that Waters was re-recording the entire album, I was pretty disappointed and thought that it was a bad idea. However, the more I thought about it, the more I figured that it was actually a very sound concept - who better to reinterpret one of my favuorite albums of all time than the principal author of the original? And indeed, I can totally understand his reasons for doing so, even though I suspect that there are some other less 'good' reasons for doing it as well.

However, after giving it a spin last night, I think that my original instincts were right. At best, I'd say it was 'interesting' to hear Waters' own reimagining of certain tracks, but by and large it just comes across as lethargic and ultimately unnecessary.

Listened to a few albums by two of my favorite New York rappers today. Ka and Roc Marciano are among the most underrated rappers out there. I really like their unique styles!

Been on a bit on hardstyle revival lately, and this one holds special memories to the qlimax and defqon 1 parties I visited when I was in my 20's.
A track favoured by Dj Technoboy in his livesets.
