I go back and read a few pages if I haven't posted in a while. I've discovered quite a few good bands because of this thread. And I try not to put down a song that everyone knows, because that's pointless.

Kyuss - Shine

Didn't Tool do a cover of Kyuss - Demon Cleaner?

Yes, yes they did.

Klostrophobic
Rilo Kiley - The Execution Of All Things

I don't normally like female-vocal fronted bands, but Jenny Lewis could **** in my ear and it would sound heavenly.
It would be a b!tch to wash that "heavenly sound" out though...

Muse - Sing For Absolution

Shannon
Nine Inch Nails - The Wretched
I'm sooo in love with this track at the moment. 👍
👍 Shoulda heard it live... :sly:

The Wallets - Big City Polka
They Might Be Giants - The Famous Polka

Nothing like a little accordian thrash to get your morning pumping.

Yup, a couple of months after The Fragile came out. It was a great show - one of the best I've seen. NIN played a great, long set, covering the whole spectrum, and with a lot of energy. Even the long instrumental piece towards the end of the 'left' disc of Fragile was great, with Trent silhouetted on keyboard in front of a huge video screen.

A Perfect Circle opened for NIN, before their first album even came out. They were OK but not really tight yet, and I think most of them were a little scared of playing for 15,000 people. Maynard sang into the drum riser for the whole set which really kind of put a damper on the performance.

I wish I'd seen The Downward Spiral tour even more, though, before NIN was so huge.

Radiohead - fitter happier

I love this song. None the least because it was recorded using the old "MacSpeak" software.

Slayer - Evil Has No Boundaries
Slayer - The Antichrist
Slayer - Die by the Sword
Slayer - Fight Till Death

the first 4 songs of Slayer's 1983 album Show No Mercy
