Meshuggah.. they're from my birth town.. Nice metal but a bit too insane mathematical metal for me..

Yeah, I know what your saying... I enjoy a few of their songs, but I have a hard time getting into most of it... However, I love their sound and how they have brought inovation to the metal scene.... I enjoy complexity in music, whether it's on the surface or deceptive simplicity..... So, I like the "Mathematical Metal" as you so aptly put, but I can see how it can be too abrasive for some....
