Well today gas prices around here hit $2.79 per gallon for regular unleaded.

Just curious what the rest of you guys are shelling out to fill up your rides.

Warning:

Any discussion of saying Americans have it easy for fuel will result in the closing of this thread.

My Dad pays 90.9p per litre for normal unleaded the last time I checked. :(

The equivalent of $6.20 per (US) gallon for normal (93RON - roughly the same as 89PON used in the US) unleaded.

$1/liter which makes each fillup on the accord cost a bit over $50 :irked:

I pumped $3.20/gal premium gas the other day. That's a new high for me.

Ya it was 51 bucks to fill up the Blazer today, thank God I make a ton of money.

Also might I suggest for the US residents here, check out www.gasbuddy.com. It will show you the most expensive stations and cheapest staitons in your area. Every little bit helps, no?

My Dad's car carries 13.6 gallons of fuel, and does about 20 miles a day to work on 24mpg. Usualy once a month or less we take a 210 mile trip to (and back) my Auntie and Uncles place, or other trips with a shorter distance.

On 24mpg my Dad's car can do 326 miles on a full tank. A whole tank costs £56.36.

Pretty steep eh?

Sounds like my truck, I have an 18 gallon tank and average 15 mpg, I get about 275 miles outta a tank. It have a 45 mile round trip drive to work, plus other trips I take. I do about 1700miles a month if I take it easy.

2.59...... :banghead::banghead: The fact that I'll be driving my Biscayne as of mid September won't help too much.

The last time I filled up was more than two weeks ago. I believe it was 2.28 a gallon and $25 to fill my tank. I'm grateful I've got the gas sipping saturn.

$2.79 a gallon for regular. :grumpy:

$2.59 a gallon. Since I drive 38 miles a day to work I go through a tank a week including Saturday & Sunday driving. I don't envy you drivers in the EU...even WITH a car that gets good mpg how do you guys and gals afford that ****?

The most I've ever paid for fuel:

$3.049 (3.05) for 93 RM/2 at a Shell station. The turbo seems to like it though! :sly:

15.8 gallon fuel tank. Usually get about 180 miles on 12 US gallons or about 15 mpg. I could do better, but I can't stay out of boost.

I saw 3.09 a gallon here in the metro Detroit area....
That was for premium 93 octane......
When i first got the Mustang it cost around 20$ to fill it up from almost empty
Now at 3/8 of a tank it costs me almost $26.....crazy

What's the gas mileage?

2.619, or somewhere around there. Milk is more expensive.

Where at in the Detroit area, I filled up in Auburn Hills today and it was 2.79, but that was for regular. I'm sure downriver its more.

Close to $3 for 91. Costs 35-40 bucks to fill the WRX.

Ya if you buy between 18-22 gallons of milk every week.

What's the gas mileage?

I haven't tabulated it in a while but I could do it tomorrow whe I refill.

I believe it is right around 30 mpg. It has a tiny little tank.

In a Saturn 30mpg is very likely, as long as you stick to the 4 banger they are great on gas.

That's not entirely accurate:

My 4 banger averages 15 mpg. :sly: :sly: :sly:

The last time I filled up was over 2 weeks ago, due to my small amount of daily driving. But, the last time I checked, gas was at 1.08.x per liter (regular). And to think, I filled up my car last sometime over 2 weeks ago, probably closer to 3, at 94.9/liter, regular. What a piss-off.

I try not to look. :( My friend told me that, it's expected to hit $3.00/Gal. by this weekend. Just few days ago, I put $30 in the tank. Still were about fifth short of full. Damn 20 gallon tank! :grumpy:

I pay the equivalent of $2.29 per gallon. Not bad.

But considering the fact that my (mid-level management) salary is worth the equivalent of $500 a month... I'm tempted to move back to the US... if only the cost of everything else here wasn't so cheap, I'd be dirt poor.

I drive a Saturn 4-banger and it's **** on economy. You'd think if they were going to make a slow, boring, ugly car made of plastic that they could at least make it fuel efficient. Nope.

$1.20 litre RON 93 regualar unleaded.
