Around NZD$1.40/litre for 91 octane and up to $1.50/litre for 98 octane.

Petrol prices have risen 42% in the past year and even though the whole world is going through harsh petrol prices we have more reason to complain considering 48% of our costs are taxes

I have a 55 litre tank and can get 500+km out of it if I grandma drive it, I usually get 350-400km on average though.

Our petrol taxes are about the same.

:scared: yikes, some of the prices in here are scary! I guess I shouldn't feel bad.. last time it was $2.79 a gal. but I'm gonna have to fill up soon. :grumpy: I'm so glad my rubberband gets 28 mpg.

I've noticed where I live, BP rip you off. It's about 2p more per litre compared to everyone else. 👎

It was on the news a little while back that they make £1,000,000 an hour.

Usually here it's BP that put their prices up first, then everybody else follows..

We're at about $2.69 for a gallon of unleaded grade 87 fuel. When we're near costco though, we'll fill up at their gas stations, which is at around $2.55 a gallon.

I was lucky yesterday:

I have fille up my car for 1.26 Euro per litre (95 octane).

Today it cost 1.30. 👎

1 litre = 0.264172 american gallons

1 Euro = 1.23 US Dollar

OVER 6 US Dollar per Gallon

Its still cheaper than we pay for fuel in the UK!

Only just.

I just put in £15 at 90.9 per litre. The calculations say that's $6.12 per US Gallon.

$1.12 a litre for unleaded (93 or 95 RON)

or

$3.21USD per gallon

94.9 for 98RON. Lordy!

I can't wait for the new Esprit. The design concept is clearly intended to suck vagrants, stray puppies and children from the pavement in order to power the car by some form of pulped-remains combustion.

At least it'd cost less to run.

We burnt a 1/4 of a tank in the Previa returning from near Pembroke pulling the caravan. :ouch:

It started with a 15% slope and didn't get much better untill we hit the two lane carrigeways roads. :banghead:

I paid yesterday 94.5 cents per litre, but a week ago when I was on holidays in northern canada, it was 109.2 per litre ( yikes )

Where at in the Detroit area, I filled up in Auburn Hills today and it was 2.79, but that was for regular. I'm sure downriver its more.
It was near Utica i think....... Hall road (m-59)and van Dyke(m-53)

Gas is about $2.50 per gallon around me right now. Compared to some of you, I guess I'm pretty lucky, although I still gripe about it every day. I remember the good ol' days when I could actually fill my tank with a 20 dollar bill, and still have change left over.

I guess I should be glad my car is good on gas too. I have a '99 Honda Civic and it's been getting around 35mpg this summer, 40 if I'm lucky and do most of my driving on the highway. I do pay for the good mileage in the summer though, as I have no AC in my car.

What's the gas mileage?

I figured it out today, 29.23 miles per us gallon. Not bad for a 98 sohc saturn wagon.

Gas was 2.51 today, cost me right past $25 to fill up my tank.

I reckon in the next cople of months prices will go to £1.50 a litre thats what I think it will go too mates.

petrol over here is subsidised by the government .. we're paying RM1.68 per litre .. about 45 cents per litre in US dollar

Once it hits a quid the truckers will go nuts again and duty will be brought down.

£72 last time I filled up although thanks to being away most weeks and my company driving me to the airport it takes me a while to use it up.

Almost tempting to bring back jerrycans full of gas back home from the US each week :D

Wow that's not that far from me, I live at I-75 and M-24, so about 15 miles or so.

i paid 2.69 in south west MI for regular....thank goodness i have a slow crappy 1.5 liter civic.
but man......its crazy here, 110 octane fuel is cheaper than 93 here right now! its like 2.73 and 93 is like 2.89 or something.
