I am watching The Boys. Why does everything need to be stretched over so many episodes. It’s like we can’t enjoy a nice story without it being dragged out so long, sooooo long. It’s like watching one episode to look at 1 step in the story.

So I don’t get the hype for this show. The idea is nice, but the gore and violence is only once surprising. But overall it is a bit cliche…

Saturday's double header consisted of two perfect movies (perfect casting too) directed by master directors: Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth and Mel Brook's Young Frankenstein. I obviously themed this leading to today's viewing of Frankenstein on Netflix.

I've been meaning to get to this one but haven't watched it yet. It's on my 1001 list so I'll get there eventually!

I'm just over half done with this. Not surprisingly it's beautifully shot. Pacing is a hair slow but not terrible.
