I love the Jurassic Park series, only contains mild violence but everyone knows dinosaurs aren't real now.
All birds are dinosaurs.
They all died in the BC era.
Non-avian dinosaurs went extinct 66 million years ago, long before the BC/AD calendar system.
It all started with the Lost World, from 1995-1996.
The franchise actually started with “Jurassic Park” in 1993.

Thanks for clarifying that mate.

Watched Marshalls(Yellowstone spinoff). I felt why did they need an NCISCSI in Montana?
Might get better since there's a Marshall representing The Bronx(the actress is actually from The Bronx).

I'm watching the latest Drive to Survive (Netflix) in anticipation of the upcoming F1 season. Also, I discovered The Apothecary Diaries, also on Netflix, and I'm hooked, and I'm going through season 3 of The Good Place (a rewatch).

My best friend loves anime, and she's starting to get me into watching her favorite shows. We watched a few episodes of Horimiya last night.

Freaks and The Princess Bride in one month

What was your opinion of Freaks?
To me, behind the "shock"/controversy when it was released, is a fine story of human drama and it is no coincidence that the only real "freak" in the story is the "normal" human.

The film is one of the reasons the "code" was introduced shortly after (which resulted in, among things, the scene with Kong peeling clothes off Fay Wray being cut from all the re-releases of King Kong for many years).

I said there's no rhyme or reason for what I watch and I meant it!
Still stands!

The "freaks" were all just trying to live their lives. Cleopatra got what she deserved.

Finally watched Martyrs, I heard it was a tough watch and they were not lying. It is a very well done movie though.

What's a Steram??? !!!
This is the level of incompetence that we have sunk to on national television - they can't even get 8 words right... :(

Thankfully the level of the episode of The X-Files (Drive) was massively higher.

Jim Irsay the owner of the Indianapolis Colts passed away last year. He had a massive collection of sports memorabilia, music related items guitars etc. It went up for auction at Christie's last week. I started watching it because of some of the guitars, David Gilmour's black stratocaster, Jerry Garcia's guitar known as "Tiger". But I got hooked and kept watching the whole thing. Damn he had a lot of stuff.

I had a bad evening in front of the TV. I started to watch Mickey 17 (on HBO Max), and I just stopped and dropped it about 1/3 into it. Too serious to be a satire, but not funny enough to be entertaining and aesthetically not compelling at all. We've all have seen ugly sci-fi elsewhere and better made.

So, I switched to Amazon Prime and started watching The Smashing Machine and the movie starts by depicting the first pro fight of its subject, Mark Kerr, but then The Rock starts talking in character and sounds... like The Rock, with no effort to even try to mimic the tone and cadence of the real Mark Kerr, which honestly doesn't even have an extraordinary intonation or anything, it's a very ordinary voice. I might or might not keep watching.

Rest in peace Len Deighton.
I only have The Ipcress File on Blu Ray, but hope to find a way to view all three of the original trilogy.

Harry Palmer isn't named in Len's books which are written in first person perspective. The character name was provided by Sir Michael - when asked by Harry Salzman to come up with a mundane name for the character, he told him Harry...
