What car did you bring to the Supercar Championship?

I used the RUF Yellow Bird...well, sort of. After I had finished Midfield my steering wheel stopped responding and the game got stuck. So I lost all of it from the point of winning the boxer cup.

Tuned M3 GTR won from BMW M Series.
It may not be fastest down the long straights but it will out corner a bunch of those supercars.

Full Tranny
Brakes
Full Suspension
Stage3 NA

At this point the tires become the weak link.

Ditto @530 hp I won by 4-6 secs. each race. I think the A-spec points were around 60. I'm going to try a Shelby Series 1 next. :D

I just got the game last sunday and i used a fully modded ford gt 05 minus lvl 3 weight and lvl 3 na tuning. The GT is a very fast and good handeling car fully modded and will still help you in the latter races. :)

Stock saleen s7 all the way, the other cars didnt stand a chance lol
Just had to watch for the horrendous oversteer when you put the power down....but oooooo that tourque is nice :D

Zonda C12S 7.3
Tommy Kaira ZZII
Jaguar XJ220
Mercedes SL65AMG
Saleen S7
Spyker C8 Laviolette

All cars stock except I had to put a muffler and computer chip in the Spyker to get it over 500 ps.

SLR - sports chip, sr suspension, and racing exhaust(love that sound)

Dunce of tha crowd:
I saved up money jus 2 buy a dodge viper GTS and fully load it wit all dem wonderful goodies.....BIG MISTAKE!!! sure, tha car hauls ass, and i'm unstoppable on tha str8 awayz, but tha brakes SUK!! Even tuned up and puttin light pressure on em tha wheelz lock n i mite as well b using tha freakin e-brake... on top of tht, tha car CANNOT TURN AT ALL!!! i caggd tha 1st race through tha all so newbish "bounce-passing" but wat a craptacular disaster tht turnd out 2 b.......waz so pissed, tht in order not 2 trash my PS2, i decided 2 vent out on tha forum

I used a stock Ford GT, and boy, it wasn't fun. The gear ratios are pathetically wide, and the car has a tendency to fishtail when being rammed from behind by the close #2 competitor. Argh!
I didn't notice tthe problems with the brakes. You just have to brake earlier, big deal.

Speaking of the Cien, I was trying to get mine to do a wheelie. 1024hp, high ride height in the front, low in the rear, weight shifted all the way to the rear. Doesn't drive very well, but it did do some impressive dives at 272 mph on Sarthe II. ;-)

I don't have so much $$ when entering this series, a used TVR Cerb. Speed 6 with a little bit power upgrade to make up 500 horses.

Extra thing is a rear wing.

Tried a couple different cars, but they unfortunately weren't the right ones for my style, even tuned as usual. The culprits are the GT and the Speed 12. They just aren't my cup of tea, so now that I'm good and mad at the Championship, I will crush its puny contenders with an overpowered street bullet.

Used the Ford GT the first time with Racing medium tires. (handling was like night and day compared to stock) and the second time I used my fixed up 2005 Mustang GT. Passed it fairly easy with both.

fully moded Ford gt the brakes i just had to increase the setting for my liking then bye bye other cars, and oh ya racing tires make a HUGE diffrence (at least for me) on the Ford gt

WRX racer 04

Yeah the tires bite a lot better.

sorry, do you guys mean that Supercar Festival? that 500+hp races?
if so, we can't use racing tyre.

First I tried my 900hp SL 65, got taken. Then 550hp M3 GTR, did well except on the straights. 600hp R34 GTR N1 got me the win.

Can you post this in a NORMAL version, thank you. When I read this it's more like descifering than reading

it's not a hard race
i only used a 580-590hp R34 with fully tuned suspension

no problem, but i just wonder if there any other series that use those cars.
since i personally like to drive 'stock look' car instead of those 'GT looks' car

After messing with the Yellowbird for a while, I decided it wasn't worth it. I got to the point where I could control it, and do fast laps, but it just wasn't fun. I don't know if that's how a RL Yellowbird drives, but it felt like something I could compare to doing cocaine or something. Fun and very exciting, but extremely difficult to control, and easy to screw up. A well tuned race car isn't harder to control than a Bull on Viagra, imo.

So, I took my M3 and threw on the stage 3 NA and balanced the motor to get 503 horses out of it. I didn't smoke the competition, but I had a lot of fun. I ended up with a 1:39.6~ final lap about 1.8 in front. The M3 is sooo much more fun to drive :P

I've only done Infineon sports car though, which I'm hearing is the hardest track in that series. Oh well, haha. Others should be easier :)

I used a R34 Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nur fully tuned (857HP) Faired well, love the AWD take offs, such an adavantage over RWD lol... If the Caddy owns you go to special race events and win the Caddy yourself its the first race LOL... comes with 700HP stock lol... tune that sucker up lol

I used a stock Ford GT, pretty easy :)

I tried a non-tuned SLR first and got battered.

Tuned it all up and just won the first race easily. Hopefully the others in the championship will take the same sort of shape :D

hinchyoooo

Wow realy? I thought the slr as is would kick some ass.

Yep, it got battered.

I assumed when it said unmodified cars that it meant leave them in the same condition as when you first buy them.

Evidently not :p

I think many people liked the Ford GT '05 before they knew about the horrible brakes, because it seems like a lot of people have chosen this car, it just sucks at braking but it looks........well like this: :crazy:
:)
