Apparently any American sports car qualifies as a Muscle car. I think the original definition of a Muscle car was a RWD, V8 in a non-specialized chassis. Technically, the Shelby cobra, vette, viper, and ford GT are not muscle cars. Any car that isn't RWD FR isn't a muscle car.
Technically Camaros. Mustangs and especially Vettes are not muscle cars either as the original definition was that of a full size car that was overpowered based on the design of the original muscle car the GTO.
I got the ticket on 2 accounts on one I got the Buick GNX and on the other I got the Corvette Grand Sport.
On the classic muscle car I got the 64 GTO and the 67 Cougar.
Oh an btw any car newer than 1974 would not be considered a classic muscle car so modern applys to all the newer ones.

Yup, Camaro, Challengers, Cuda and stangs were all pony cars. The only muscle cars in the game are the charger, chevelle, GTO and there are couple more I think.

63 Buick special could be called a muscle car even though it is older than the first muscle car. It certianly fits the bill otherwise.
As to the pony cars I think this name came about because of the Mustang. Other car dealers where trying to find something to compete in the market place with the hugely popular pony from Ford.
