This is a series for 500pp or lower cars with tuning prohibited. Not too worried about the AI, but after crunching some HP/kg numbers on cars in the 480-500pp range, these are my canidates.

TVR Tamora '02: 3.072 (!!!)
RUF BTR: 3.206
TVR Speed 6 '98: 3.228
TVR Griffith: 3.322
Ferrari 365GTB4: 3.450

Anyone have experience with any of these that they would recommend?

How's the handling on the RUF? I remember in GT5 one of them was rotten with understeer. (think it was the 90's AWD model, can't recall name at the moment.)

RGT is also on my list at 3.509 power-to-weight ratio. Reeealy wish it would just show you in the dealerships instead of having to manually calculate it.

Also, is the 1 series tii eligible for the one-make race?

2010 Camaro, cheap, decent handling, fast and a surprising amount of grip.

About to give it a go with the TVR Tamora, as it can also be used in the British Lightweights. Thanks everyone!

Alpine 15th AE, hilarious amount of body roll for the Tsukuba race, the 15th AE Focus ST for Motegi, great little FF car and the Z8 AE car for Trial Mountain, was trying out the different AE cars

I've been putting very, very, few miles on my 15thAE cars until I find out if there is an engine break-in period as with GT5. Really don't want to have any permanent power loss on them since they're (presumably) irreplaceable.

Anywho, just wrapped up the series, and M3 CSL was the rabbit on all three tracks. Easy golds on first try though w/ TVR Tamora. (Honestly, with this AI, probably could have won in a Subaru 360 with 50% power and max ballast!)

Fliped her in the Trial Mountain's last corner... :dunce:

But, luckly, with 13 secs of difference, I won. :D

It had an ending movie?
Wasn't that the event that had you holding a trophy on stage with your car? I might be confusing with the final Ib event...

It was a nice thing I wast expecting. I killed that event in the sls gt3.

Tommy kaira zz II. Just de-tune to about 60%.
Other cars that can win (under $80k ) - r34 nurb (handles better stock that the others), Subaru Sti's (09 is quick ), Evo VI TM and Evo VIII, Elise Sport (road version ), chev camaro SS '10.

If you can afford it, the F1 Stealth Model is absolutely amazing. Takes a little finesse and a bit of tuning, but I set faster lap times in my McLaren than I do in most LMP's and Group C's.

It's too easy depending on what cars you get. I won the Tsukuba one fairly easily in a stock FR-S.
