Huh... Did not know that...
of course, I haven't come close to 20mil yet (There's always some fancy new wheels I want...)

Me neither... Bit stupid imo... I was hoarding my money...

You can only earn 20 mil and there are more than a few 20 mil cars available... A cap at 50mil would still be crap but better than 20... :(

Wow, the 350Z Concept LM Race Car is surprisingly slow in straight line for a 630pp car! Managed 2nd at R246 to the McLaren race car only because of good cornering speeds and plenty of 'encouragement' for my Bob.

For the 400pp I used the Lancia which I required some input.

For the 500pp I used the Wedsport IS350 with minimal input.

For the 650pp I used the R89C and the Furai, both requiring little input.

I just tried the Furai and had to detune to the 650pp, but that was down to like 490hp. The car is quick, but the tires break on the corners. what other tuning did you use?

BTW, I used the detuned Elise 111 on the 400pp...no problem for 1st place, no inputs required. Just launch it and "wake me up when you finish"..

My car combo for B-spec seasonals was LevinGT-APEX/EspritSport350/NASCARCamry#20

MadMax

I also used the Levin GT Apex...

For the 500pp race, I used a Mustang Cobra R that I'd never driven. Pretty easy win. Considering trying some four doors like the C63, E55, S-Type R and Lotus Carlton too. Couldn't get my Bob to win using a '07 M3 nor a NISMO 400R, but he routed the competition with an Evora.

For the 650pp race, you can detune a R92CP just enough to make it under the limit. Your driver will wipe out the competition pretty easily though.

400 pp: VW Lupo Cup Car
500 pp: Lotus Motor Sport Elise
650 pp: BMW V12 LM Race Car

as you can see, I wasn't looking for a challenge...

400PP: Stock Toyota Supra SZ-R
500PP: Slightly tuned BMW M3 (the premium one)
650PP: Fully tuned Nissan SKYLINE R33 GT-R TC or Audi R10 TDI Race Car

I was racing the 500pp race last night with the M3 CSL, RUF RGT, Elise 111R and '07 M3. All of them handled the competition with ease

Oki. Just tryed the Escort Rally Car '98 full tune and detune to 500pp on the 500pp rome race.

Bob dose the laps in 1,24 and he leads after 2-3 laps.

Rest of the race He drives alone.

You don't have to interfear with bob at all.

300,000.Cr in 7.min (170%)

Easy win :)

The Honda NSX '92 is great for the 500PP race. Bob wins with no help from me, usually by 10-20 seconds.

Something I've noticed from grinding the 500pp event is that there are basically two sets of cars that enter this race. One has an NSX, an Esprit V8 and a TVR in it and the other has a couple of Evo's and RX-7's. The second is by far the easiest to beat. I have to babysit my Countach to win by a second or so if it's up against an NSX but I can leave it to run away with it if it's stiffest competition is an Evo.

Is the McLaren race car ever NOT in the 650pp race??

Yes, for me, The McLaren F1 GTR seems to show up about 75% of the time. I've done a few races without it. Definitely makes things A LOT easier when it's not around. I don't think it's possible to beat it without using a detuned Group C or Le Mans race car.

I passed the McLaren on lap 7 with an ~800hp Nomad Diablo. Somehow a fully tuned Nomad Diablo is less than 650pp. It is also brutal fast.

I've been grinding the Rome one for gear using the Spoon S2000 Race Car with Bobs from level 24 upwards, and have yet to lose.

Yeah, I discovered this when I have our a go this morning. I eent in and out of the event a few times and it isn't there every couple of races. If ypu're grinfing, it's well worth making Sure it's not in there.

The Zonda R seems to handle the 650PP event quite well, needs toning down a little to qualify. My Bob seems to really enjoy a spot of sideways action around the hairpin, before blasting up the start/finish straight :trouble:

Nice to know the DIABLO can make it, I'm about to test a friend's build...

A tuned GSXR4 is the fastest 500pp car I've tested. Did laps in the 19.00s.

For the 650pp I've used the Zonda R, GTR stealth, and some LM cars like the R8 Audis. All can do well. The 2J is a challenge to beat sometimes though.

400pp - Spoon cr-z Stock
500pp - Renault clio Tuned
650pp - Pagini Zonda Stock

400pp - Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II '91 (Glides through HSR without any problems lvl 30 Bob)
500pp - Honda S2000 LM Race Car (takes the lead on the 3rd lap without much input Bob is lvl 30)
650pp - Chaparral 2J (With and without the McLaren nosing around lvl 30 Bob)

The following worked for me, no coaching on a lvl 39 driver:

400pp - TK ZZII
500pp - NSX LM Race Car
650pp - Mazda Furai

650 - Furai Concept '08
500 - FT-86 Concept '09
450 - 205 Turbo 16 '85

Some of them fully tuned.

Resuming, since you have restricted tires options, you must look for cars with low weight and a good power/weight ratio.

650pp - Zonda R on RH tyres with 106 kg ballast in the middle.
500pp - Audi Q7 (somethinkg with Pikes Peak as far as I remember), no tuning
450pp - Opel Speedster, no tuning

Audi Pikes Peak quattro '03

400pp- Nismo 270R (Had to limit the power quite a bit to get to 400pp, no tuning)
500pp- Autobachs Garaiya (Power upped to ~250, no serious tuning)
650pp- NSX GT500 Stealth (Oil change only)
Bob - Level 26, won each race easily, though I suspect if Mr. McLaren had shown up for the 650pp, the NSX would have been outmatched

My cars for this seasonal

400 - Toyota MR2 1600 G-Limited Super Charger ‘86

500 - FT-86 Concept '09 (win with a pilot level 14)
500 - Ruf yellow bird
500 - NSX Type R
500 - BMW M3 '04 (PP 475)

650 - Honda RAYBRIG NSX (JGTC) ‘00 (Turbo stg) (PP 615-620)
650 - Pagani Zonda R (stock - RH Tyre)
650 - Dodge VIPER oreca #91 (stock) (PP 636)
650 - 330 P4 Race Car ‘67 (stock)

Woo hoo, my first post!

Anywho... I have tried a few cars and have these 3 as the quickets. I don't give them ANY input at all, other than starting the race and all give about the same total time of approx 7 mins 2 seconds. The cars are:

Lancia Stratos Rally Car 77
Lotus Elise 111R RM
Suzuki GSXR4

The Lancia and Suzuki overtake on lap 3 somewhere (halfway-finish), but the Lotus is ahead before the end of lap 2.

The Lotus is the fastest, it only takes about the same total time as the others as the driver cools down earlier as he's ahead earlier (if you get what I mean) so he drives slower.

Go for the weight increase over the power reduction.

I bea the 650PP one with a McLaren F1 (fully loaded out with upgrades and slightly power trimmed) against the McLaren F1 GTR. I had to REALLY prod my Bob along though. I will try it with a Furai this evning I think! I forgot how great that car can be.

I've been using a power detuned Elise 111R, fully loaded out for the 500PP event and don't have to do anything other than press START RACE.
