I have a Yellow Bird but it's completely un-driveable..Should i bother with an SLS? Or what do you recommend?

Pretty sure a lightly modified M3 did it for me. Push it up to 450ish bhp and throw on some nice tyres and you shouldn't have trouble.

Check the tuning section of this site for the Yellow Bird tune. I re-raced the event with that car and EASILY golded it. Prior to that I used an M3 which was easier to drive with, but I didn't win the races by as large a margin as the Yellow Bird did.

I did with a saloon AMG car... like a 09 or something that I won from the AMG driving academy. I tuned it pretty high, put some TC and ASM on a smoked everyone it was laughable.

I used a stock SLS with soft sports tyres and the aero options (front and rear wing), but no other mods, easily won those races with about 10 secs difference to number 2. I don't know if that is what people call the rubber banding, but I easily pass the other cars at the start of a race, and then then time difference doesn't seem to grow that much.

Passed the AMG Advanced (the wet track) in silver, and received the E63. Tuned it a bit to over 700hp, and just killed the rest of the field.

I used the RUF RGT lighty modified but there are lots of cars that can win this event with ease.

I did it with a renovated yellowbird, on racing hard tyres. pretty hairy in places but good fun, just stayed behind the leading R8 and cruised past on the straight.

I used the chromeline r8, apsolutely blew them out of the water.

I use a modified BMW M3. Wins the race and it's fun to drive. I tend to do the Nordschleife once a day every day simply because I love that track.
