I'm planning to go to stuttgart later so it'd be great if i could have some practice with a car that most resemble amg in term of performance and handling etc

On GT5P? I'd drive the Ferrari 599 and then the SL55 AMG. The Ferrari will be similar to the SLS while moving forward and then the SL55 will give you an idea of what to expect when you try to turn or slow down.

Really though the Viper SRT 10 (try the tuned also) with the weight and power adjusted accordingly (and the suspension set a bit soft for the tuned) would be pretty similar. I know the original SLS mules were at the very least disguised as Vipers! haha

Couldn't tell you mate, I've only read a couple of reviews about the SLS. It'll be a similar speed to the Ferrari F430 but that's MR layout. You could quick tune the Ferrari 599 as close as possible to 563bhp and 1620kg. This is assuming you're refering to GT5P. I hope you're taking a decent video camera!
Edit: Fredzy got there first, I should type quicker!

Both gt5p and psp. Prologue for the wheel and psp for the track ;p It's pretty hard for me as I can't seem to remember the track at all lol. Recognized some sections but they mostly looked the same to me

Oh yea practice the track.. use an SLR McLaren on PSP learning the track. Then tune the Viper or 599 to about 560 hp and 3570 lbs (1620 kg) or as close as you can get them on Prologue.

^Well the OP did mention being in Germany, so I assumed he's going to practice at the real Nuerburgring...

I didn't catch his later post about GT5p or PSP...

Love it, I'd like to think we did have GTP members rich enough to own a merc SLR to qualify them to buy a merc SLR Stirling Moss.

Not buy. I'm sure there are ways to rent expensive cars there.

Genius, that's a pretty impressive can do attitude!

If you did manage to find a SLR Stirling Moss to hire, bearing in mind you already have to own a "standard" SLR for Mercedes to sell one to you, can you imagine the insurance excess if you said you were going to take it on the Nurburgring Nordschleife?

Does anyone else find the sls not so good looking? It looks archaic.

Yeah, I agree. SLS AMG is the ugliest Mercedes I have ever seen, but that's my opinion. Other people seem to claim it's beautiful, but then I just pause the video and go on to something else. :D

I think its gorgeous. But then again, I also think the 300SL is beautiful too. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though.

I don`t think it`s the best looking car out there, kinda looks like it`s proportions are wrong. The Z06 from GT5P would be a close match i`d say.

Is it a good looking car? Personally, I love the older (and simpler looking) Mercedes from the late 70s- the 450 and the 500SL in particular although nothing beats the gullwing 300SL. And because of SLS homage to the vintage cars (although I don't see it as being archaic at all), I can only applaud both Mercedes and AMG for going with or a much cleaner and simpler lines.

Yes, please:

As to the original question: I believe that getting used to the new physics of the GT Academy TT makes more of a difference than actually driving a car (in Prologue, GT4 or any other sims) that would resemble the performance of the SLS. Fortunately, just like the SLS the 370Z also happens to be an FR.

Um, no. I'm not disagreeing with your opinion, I'm disagreeing with this...

I take it you've never seen the SLR Stirling Moss? Now that's ugly, and not Enzo ugly either. :yuck:
