If your just starting and short on credits get either the Daihatsu Copen or the Suzuki Cervo and do a few of the lightweight K Cup seasonal races for quick credits. Once you have enough credits you can get a Ferrari and do the Ferrari seasonal for more quick credits and some helmets. At that point just buy anything you like as credits should never be an issue again. With the seasonals all paying pretty good currently, you can find a number of races to use a wide variety of cars on for variety. No reason not to buy all the cars you like and maybe give some cars you might ignore a chance for some offbeat fun.
