Ich würde gern in den Nürburgring Nordschleife mit deutschen wagen fahren : die E46 M3 CSL und der SL55 AMG zuzammen...
(I hope the 2004 SLR McL is in GT4...dream about it!)

This is slightly off topic. but does anyone know where I can get a picture layout of the Nurb Ring?

Here you go:

This image says it all... my little baby (well, not yet, but I'll get one next year) at Citta d'Aria

mini cooper on the test track :dopey: . J/K.

actually i'm really looking forward to driving the McLaren. If they have the street version then even better! Hope they get in a Ferrari.

If they have F1's in, then i'd like to try them out again on Monaco (Cote d'Azur) and Suzuka.

Pikes Peak with a Skyline sounds like fun too.

I'm sure McLaren'sAngel will be back home (Heaven) when she takes the Fina McLaren around the 14+ mile-long Nurburgring Nordschliefe. And "fporto," before I seen that picture, I thought it was going to be one of those "OWNED!" pictures, but it's all good if you want that Ford Ka. I wouldn't mind a Ka if they were sold in America, but I'll gladly take the Mini. In fact if I had the money, I'd buy one of those as a daily driver. I don't need anything really big, so it fits the bill unless my parents want to get me something functional and solid even if it's a lemon.

And that "Motul Skyline" I was talking about? That was the 2003 GT500 Champions. I didn't know what they were called, so I went off of the Motul sponsorship. I still remember that video of that brave racer at Citta di Aria. The video is long gone, but it featured the Fina McLaren F1 carving through the tough, tight streets of Citta di Aria. I'd hate to have Citta di Aria as a license test! Don't remind me of the Super License Final Exam (Toyota GT-One at Monte Carlo)!

All the classics on the Nurburgring and Citta di Aria. Some of the cars I'm really excited about trying are the Renault Alpine, the original Mazda Cosmo, and the early VW Beetle.

Fiat Panda on Città or Capri.
A112 Abarth on Tsukuba or Autumn ring (mini and not)
Volvo 240 or Citroen CX (hope!!) con Nurb.
CR-X 1.6 V-tec and Ae86 Levin everywhere! ...

Great thread lads :D

For me the dream combos would have to be:

Red Rock Valley - Ford GT

High-Speed Ring - McLaren F1

Nurburgring - BMW M3

I've heard some people saying that the Le Mans track may make it to the game? I hope to god this is true! I've always wanted to drive this track, on any game. But imagine it in GT4 with the uber graphics and elite cars!! Imagine it.....NOW!

I'd prefer to have the Le Mans track over the nurb!

If it's true, then I hope it's with the Mulsanne straight intact, not with the chicanes they've been using for the past few years. 3 miles of straightaway, with only a small but terrifying kink near the end. I know why the chicanes were put in, but this is a game, we don't have to worry about anyone dying.

Personally, I'd rather have Green Hell than La Sarthe. Le Mans is an excellent racing event, but as a track it can't compare with the sheer grandeur of the Nordschleife.

'Tis a most impure thing to say! Nurburgring is the Holy Grail of Motorsport! How can you not want it!?

Besides, if you want Le Mans, play 24 Heures du Mans, the Official Game of the race. It's pure speculation that Le Mans is in ... there's a whole 8-page thread where we've picked apart the rumours ... I still doubt it will make the final cut, especially if PD haven't put it in yet, it's the Eleventh Hour and making a 13 km track is no walk in the park.

I still can't believe you said that ... Nurburgring is far more challenging than Le Mans ever has been and probably ever will be.

Do you race?

The 13th Hour is more like the 36th Hour now... :( Wonder what 200 programmers will do for FOUR months, surely 13 languages don't take that long... :D

Anyhow I've only seen the delay mentioned in regards to 'Europe' and although we're Antipedeans we usually get the 'UK' version :(

Not even that, they outsource (get someoen else to do it) the translation. Usually it's Sony who translates the game ... at least, they did most of it for GT2, some PD staff were on hand to help out ... Japanese can be quite hard to translate, ya know!

Plymouth (Chrysler for you Asian and European people) Prowler on the High Speed Ring and also the Nurenburgring.

Before I begin, I kind of want to talk about something I've kind of been talking about in the past. I've been looking closely at that Fina McLaren F1. Now I've said that the McLaren F1 GT would be cool, but after looking at it off and on, it really sort of looks like this Fina McLaren is a racing variant of the F1 GT, just without the tall wing. Now, I like graphics on cars, but if you could paint up that race car to be black, it would be a pretty bad machine. Or as the Godfather of Soul, James Brown, would say, "superbad."

I'd like to utilize as much of the race cars as possible, especially the good ones. And since I don't like using rear-wheel drive in rally, I'd take the Lancia Stratos to the Nurburgring Mordschliefe and just let that Ferrari engine roar to the high heavens as I take on the many turns there (how many are there, anyway?). So that's another car-track combination from your boy in "hot, even in mid-October" Houston. But I still want to race the BMW M3 GTR at the Nords, though.

Doesn't GT4 have a 'Paint Shop' mode where you can tweak the paintwork of your car? Or was that dropped with Online?

I've not driven any of the two said tracks on any game, but since I love watching the Le mans 24 hour I really would like that track to make it to the game. As someone else said above - if it does make it into the game I'd like it to have that massive straight. 400+km/h anyone? :D

However I am looking forward to the real Nurburgring because I've only ever raced the castrated version they use for F1.

BTW, thanks for the game recommendation - I didn't know they had an official Le Mans game 👍

I know that no1 here knows what every car or track is in the final game

I am going to use the drop-top 350z and whatever track has the most turn just so I can see the replays of the guy inside changin gears like mad

of course.....i'm gonna get into my jag xj220 road or racecar, and tear up the tarmac at midfield!

Just realized I don't have to drive, I can let the machine do it for me! With that in mind, I'll nominate the combination of the ancient 1886 Benz Patent Motor Car and Nürburgring Nordschleife! 28,8km per lap in a vehicle that'll top 16km/h!
