GT3 around the Nurburgring until the laser burns a hole through the disc!

911 GT3???
I don't think so

Edit: the 911 GT3 will be one of the few reasons to boot up Gran Turismo 3

Nice, but I love mines in black....or speed yellow...dont know that yellow calls.... :sly:

I really wish an E30('87-'91) BMW M3 would be in the game, i will take my DFP and cruise the Nurb with an E36 M3 all the time if an E30 is not there. M3's are my favorite car.

As far as the tracks go, most people replied to the Nurb. Maybe the better question would have been simply "What car are you gonna abuse on the Nurb" or "Who actually looks forward to driving on a different track more than Nurburgring? and what car you gonna use?"

I definitely don't fall in the minority. NSX + Nurb = orgasmic experience... well, not really, but you get it

all super car's in the Midfield raceway there's where i tested the cars in gt3 to see wich 1 was the best and the the race cars in the 'Ring especially the lemans prototypes

McL SLR eveywhere for the infinite replay value and eternal happyness of my future grandchildren.

I absolutely feel you buddy!....U forgot to mention the course! The Green Hell obviously! :dopey:

OMFG! that insane sound of the SLR i cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ring, with an Mk1 NA Toyota MR2. And in Mk2 MR2 GT-S, and in an Mk3 MR2 (MR-S), and Celica's... yesh, Celica...

Wow, 98Cobra... that's the first time you said that a car NOT FROM AMERICA is beautiful. I was shocked right out of my boxers about that 911 GT3 deal. Of course, if you want the next best thing than a Porsche, get a Ruf. The game "Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3" had Gemballa, which featured cars that looked like the Boxster and the 911 (of course they're given different names). Anyhow, another story, another time.

The McLaren-Mercedes SLR is a sweet car no matter how you look at it. I don't know if it has a sick supercharger package or something, but somehow, McLaren and Mercedes got that bad boy up to 600+ hp from a V8. Also, imagine seeing that thing go down the street in some expensive part of your hometown (around here in Houston, it's probably River Oaks or the Houston Galleria). When you see that thing go down the street, you're probably looking at it like "Damn! This thing's b*tchin'!" That is, unless you dislike supercars. This may surprise some of you on GTPlanet. I'm going to say that I'd race the McLaren-Mercedes SLR at the Nurburgring. Hey, it's a German car, on a German track, but I'm American (record scratches)... uh, my brother knows a little German (ding sound) :).

I think there should be a track for every car for every taste. That doesn't mean anything like a Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR taking on American muscle cars at Darlington, however. Next?

A GT3 in GT3??? Surely you're pulling my leg??? Just how does one acquire this delightful automobile??? Or is it a Photoshop job???

hellnback, the 911 GT3 can be hacked out of NTSC versions of the game. It requires a game shark or an xport/sharkport. It is of note that it has a dedicated engine sample that is distinct from the RGT.

Actually you forgot it's squeeze out of the GameShark as well.......

McLaren F1 GTR on every course, just because there is a game that we can use it in that will do it justice finally. Also all the 60's and 70's roadsters on the nurb just cause it'll be fun as hell throwin those a round the ring.

You know, I almost forgot two Japanese beauties- the Datsun 240Z, and the Toyota 2000GT. I recently was able to purchase the 2000GT in the used car lot in GT2. Now that I got the machine and saved it on both of my PS1 Memory Cards, I'll have to think about racing these machines in GT4. If you think Japanese cars are all "boy racers" and Kei cars, these are two cars with lovely, sweeping designs. They both have the traditional fastback look, but the 2000GT looks further back than the 240Z. I have no idea what I'd race one or both of these on in GT4, to be honest. I think the course would have to be a natural setting apart from my love of city/urban racing. El Capitan seems to be a very nice setting. I wouldn't mind Monterrey Historics-style racing at Laguna Seca with these machines, but there aren't really endless possibilities for these two cars that I'd prefer.

By the way, Costa di Amalfi is a WONDERFUL environment to race at, even if it's only for two cars.

I'm going to take the Lotus Carlton for a spin at the Nurb... Then i take all of the gruop B rally cars at the tahiti maze and the Nurb.
Just seeing that the Quattro S1, RS200, R5 Turbo, 205 T16 and Delta S4 is in gives me the creeps. Hope that Metro 6R4 is in to so i can hear that sweet V6 in the back. :)

Erm.... I'll go for the 1886 Daimler Motor Carriage around the Nur.. See if I can do it in an hour...!! :indiff:

That was totally an unexpected, yet very funny response!

Can't imagine having a car that goes so slow that it would take an hour to get around one lap at Nurburgring...!

It would take longer than a hour, probably longer than two. Thats if it can get up hills.

You really should quote when replying to something other than the last reply. Now people will think that you think that I can't get the GT40 round Nurb in less than an hour - and I resent that!. I'm not THAT bad a driver :grumpy:

You were too quick to view my post before I edited in the quote.
