Nurb - GT40....

For days and days and days...

Then Seattle - GT40...

Not even sure about Seattle being in the GT4, or in any other GT game onwards. Main reason: without serious modification of the uphill section of the course (downhill in reverse), new physics model would kill your car.

Take note of the modification of the Trial Mountain due to new physics model (significant widening the course), take a spin of GT-R Falken on Nurb (or downlooad the replay to see the physics in vivo) and just imagine the behaviour of street-adjusted racing car in uphill / downhill section in Seattle.

No way Hose, not from my perspective...

for me it's the 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR FQ400 this baby do 0-60 in 3.5 sec....omg The £330,000 Porsche Carrera GT, for example, requires 3.9 seconds to sprint from 0-62 mph, while the ultra-exclusive Pagani Zonda needs 3.7 seconds. The BMW M3 – hitherto the benchmark ‘everyday supercar’ – takes 5.3 seconds to achieve the same feat. i did see the MR in Prologue i drive that all day but that car can't even beat the r34 but in real life the evo8 GSR and the MR is faster then R34 ...i have vidoes of this but then again Prologue is not the finsh gt4 so i wll have to see ...and the MR in Prologue is not this new MR FQ400 so i will have to do nuff praying.. http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/lancer_fq400.asp

Well - If the new physics engine is that good - go slower...

Anyway - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Seattle...

It is not the matter of speed - as we can see form the Japanese demo, one harder touch of the suspension to the concrete and you're dead. Have a feeling that Seattle's design is way extreme to the new model. Seattle Short is OK, but the BigOne is a Killer. I'm also intrested to see Seattle, mainly because new physics model.

Why don't you think that PD will let us decide if Seattle is too extreme to drive in our car of choice or not? My 1st thought was we would just have to slow down, too. If they go for "reality" with the real life tracks, why not live by the same rules in their fantasy tracks? I seem to remember that the Paris track is pretty narrow in places, for instance (no hills, though).

Just curious...

I apologise for taking this a bit off-topic, but...

You know, I really hope that PD keeps things reasonable with power enhancements. Here is a manufacturer customizing their own machines and they can't get more than 405HP out of the 2L engine (expecting the general public isn't going to blow up their engines every day). So long as the game is the same way, I will be extremely happy.

Is there any evidence showing PD is doing it right this time?

Cheers,

the FQ400 is price at nearly around 100k USD....

with that much money.... i can tune a even faster evolution VIII then one that only gives out 400HP

as far as i know, the Evo can never go pass 600HP GT series... and thats more already more like the realistic limit of the engine and not 405HP. i've seen alot of Evo with around 600HP drives on the street all over japan and HK

To be honest: The best car in the game around the course with the best time:earnings ratio.

Although I won't use the best car for the first playthrough of the event, I have no qualms about using an overpowered car for the purpose of earning prize cars/making cash.

I play to collect cars more than to race.

sure sure my friend but when gt3 got out that was how far the evo could go but i see the evo7 do 800hp and i'm sure the guys at gt did there work.....i have a 500hp evo6 RS but i de tune it, it was too much for me and was not easy on the fule

I would take the beetle, modified with wings and massive tuning, and put it on nordschleife for a trip around, showing maybe a nsx or a supra how to handle the track with ease.. and then opt for a golf gti on the same circuit.. wooohooo...!!

Remember, that's keeping more or less stock internals. They haven't quite gone through the engine and thoroughly conditioned it for race duty. Also, the WRC engine, de-limited, would probably be hitting similar or even higher power numbers, judging by it's huge swell of torque. I've heard of +600hp Evos at least a few times, even a few over 800.

But I'm in agreeance. I definitely don't want to see another Escudo with 1800hp, or a Zonda with over 1000.

Maybe I anticipate things too much, but I'm surprised no one said about Lancer10's post that "we have enough Lancers in GT4!" I took a look at it, and if it packs the performance numbers to take down much larger opposition, then I'm buying that it's not your average Lancer. Seems like a machine that would laugh at it being called a "boy racer," because if it's a giant killer, you HAVE to give respect to it.

By the way my Croatian amigo (Amar212), it's "no way Jose." Hey, I'm not complaining about spelling errors, just doing just for fun.
