I honestly love driving any LMP 1 or super GT car. Especially with all assists turned off (ABS 0, TCS 0) really brings out the fun of each car!

Technitium

+1, for sure. I love working out how to drive a new car and also how to use it's stats to it's advantage, it's great fun.

So true.... that is what I do with all the cars: fully tune them (or just tune them) and then see how they handle.... if they handle rubbish then I will make it a funny car, if it handles perfect I will use it to race! It is that simple! I love GT5

bmw 2002 turbo
caterham sevenfire
mini marcos
tvr speed 6 (drift car)
ae86 (S.S version, also drift car)
X1
delta integrale rally car (especially on eidger in the rain)
stock wrx sti hatch
mitsubishi meiv
m3 gtr race car

Currently a tuned Lancia Delta HF Intergrale.

I still need to iron out the understeer issues and the lack of low RPM power but that will come later.

Ferrari F40 is a joy to drive steadily. I often go for a leisurely run round nordschelife, not racing just steady.

The Alfa Romeo 8c is a new favourite, now as well.

Ferrari F40
Ferrari F10
Ferrari F2007

MG TF, fully tuned :D
MGF, fully tuned :D :D

(I drive a Rover 200 BRM in real life, so same engine as in the MG's in game).

My favourite is Mustang Mach1, with race exhaust so you can hear the motor, 5 speed box and stock tyres. Try it and I promise it will make you smile:-)

At the moment getting right into the Motorsport Elise, enjoy driving fast racecars mainly though. Also enjoy drifting (trying to) my SS commodore.

My personal favourites to take out for a spin are these guys;

Jaguar XJ220
Jaguar XJ220 LM
Jaguar XJ-13
Jaguar S-Type R
Jaguar XKR '10
Aston-Martin Vanquish
Aston-Martin V8 Vantage
NISMO 270R
Acrua TL 3.2 Coupe '01
VW Kubelwagen
Mercedes CLK-GTR
Mercedes E55 AMG
Mercedes SL-65 AMG '04
Alfa-Romeo 155 DTM
Nissan Silvia Dia's Selection
Ferrari F430 Scuderia

Just a few you might be interested in trying - I love them all for differnet purposes, but usually no or few mods are necessary to get the car to drive the best, if not the fastest...

For fun, i drive on the 'ring in my 1986 MR2 MK1 (AW11 'G'), because its my everyday car!

Its ace to be able to install the exact same mods and tune my suspension to the same exact geo settings as on my own! Only thing missing is the ability to change the wheels on standard cars (!!!), if I could then it would look exactly like mine...

my performance blue/white striped '06 ford gt. love that car to pieces!!!
also love to see my bobs drive it around just so i can admire it more.

The Cobra since day one and the Corvette because it is gorgeous!

Shelby Cobra 427 1966
Corvette Z06 (C5) '04 Premium

Just picked two.

I really like anything with an FR layout and slightly too much power for it's chassis. Then I like to see how fast I can run out of talent.

LOL. This approach lead me to some interesting results.
1. I became a better driver, able to counter-steer and correct fast and effectively when my rear would come around in a corner.
2. My DFGT became defective, as the constant whipping on the wheel and fast corrections caused the wheel to develop a slipping tendancy with its center, and now it slips off center up to 90 degrees off, within 2 minutes of driving, and requires me to unplug the DFGT and re-callibrate...then it happens again. So needless to say, I am waiting for a replacement through Logitech.

Enjoyable drives for me are in
Astra Touring Car (sentimental value, and rock solid handling).
MX 5 Miata. (handling is rediculous)
Mercedes (that new Gull Wing)
Ford GT (any model as long as it is setup properly) One of the best cars to demonstrate CLEAR differences in handling after adjustment, which to me means the physics in this game (and car) are VERY good.
Ferrari (most models,except the F40).
