Oh, yeah, Seattle is another one of my favorites. Going forward I love the stairs section with that right hand turn at the top out to the back straight.

I am dead serious when I say, I am going to find the least likely track/car combo ever. And make it my mission to stay #1. So, whatever that is... I'll be all over it. :)

I will now take that as a challenge : ).

I think your better off picking a standard car for this endevor. The idea to check the GT4/PSP car list for ideas came to mind.

We need the track and car list.

i did that with the tuned Evo 10 on reverse London. I didn't get 1st but I got 12th. i may be a little lower now i think i was like 18th last time i checked. but ya I actually own a 1970 VW bus :) so i cant wait to get some times in it

I hope they have a PD tuned New Beetle lol but if you want to lose in a Samba : )... btw i'm slooow lol

Oh no my first double post sorry : /

I wonder if there will be much people TT'ing a very old beat up car! That would be sweet if no one TT'd an old car, cause I would be number 1 for once!

There are a 1000 cars, chances are you will find something not many people are interested in.

Haha hopefully! Cause I like trying to race slow cars to the point where I can at least beat be an average person racing a mid class sports car. That would be sweet.:dopey:

Did you not read above lol >8 ], I will hunt down any alone TTers just so it is a challenge.

I won't TT or play online for a good while anyways.
I stand by my statement, if my Spidy Yamauchi senses start tingling I'll be there lol.

Alot of the suggestions made on this forum have given me ideas like M3 CSL and the Zonda R around the nurburgring and I can't wait to put the 330P/4 around Spa but everyone remember the name arab2nv you'll see a atleast one lap time posted on every track in every Skyline GTR in the game by me every R32 GTR every R33 GTR and every R34 GTR. But one I'm really looking forward to is the Mine's R34 GTR around Tsukuba I'm ganna try beat the real life record :) I'm kinda new to this thread but just to let everyone know I post my lap times using a G25 it's turned me off controllers with racing games :)

Me and some real life friends have had a internal competition since GT2 with the Calsonic Skyline around Seattle. Hope it'll continue in GT5. :)

FWD and AWD cars at Eiger. And I'll be doing plenty of time trials at Rome as well. :D

But overall, I'll looking forward to doing a lot of time trials in different cars/tracks.

Personally tunes Evo's and Tsukuba. I always have every Evo made (that appears in GT) and tune and tweak every single one to TT Tsukuba.

Even with the millions of people who will play GT5 the scope to find an unlikely combination of car and track where you can score highly on the leaderboards is still pretty good.

This is assuming it follows the same functionality as Prologue, if it does then you will actually have roughly 140,000 specific leaderboards (70 tracks x 1000 cars x 2 modes (Pro & Standard). There would be plenty where you would be number one of one for months.

Actually it comes back to a question I asked some months back, I was curious if or how you would get scored for high placement on Leaderboards.

If every track car combination leaderboard had 100 spaces like Prologue then just for discussion sake you could allocate out points based upon this. The person who was 1st would have 100 points, the person who was 100th would have 1 point. This rating is constantly shifting, if I am top and someone comes along and pushes me down a place then my score drops to 99.

Then this score is totalled based upon all of that user's totals over different leaderboards and people can see who is top on what would be the ultimate user leaderboard. There is plenty of motivation there for players, they are rewarded for the more they play as every time they drive a track and make the leaderboard they make more overall points. The second element is users looking for the more unusual track car combinations as points will be a lot easier to come in them than they would be for a Murcielago on the Nurburgring for example.

This would be good for PD as it will push people to play with the sorts of cars in particular they have worked hard on but might not get much use by the player otherwise.

I'll drive for a few months using various cars and when I find the favourites I'll focus on those. Nobody sane will be able to push 100% for all combos. And that's only a good thing. 👍 There will be more "valued" combos / tracks / cars though and propably I will end up drivign those more too. I just hope the clutch cheat (the device) issue is solved and also the other general clutch times are separated for different boards. And maybe pad drivers too 👍

What is this clutch cheat I keep reading about anyway? I'm going to do a search for it now but I descided I'd ask anyway seeing it's come up.

I would agree that wheel and pad drivers should be separated.
