What Celebrities Have You Met?

My wife met the president, does that count?

Let's see, celebrities that I've had the tiniest bit of exposure with...

Hmmm, not many.

Snoop and Bill Nye. That's about it.

You didn't meet them at the same time did you? Those two in a room would equal hilarity out the wazoo!

"Inizzle is a property of matizzle, fo shizzle off the hizzle Bill Nizzle!"

David Hasselhoff is well, self absorbed to put it nicely. The best things he could say we're about the two pictures of him in the reception area. He was pleasent enough (probably because he had no choice) but he's not the kind of person I'd invite on a binge night or anything.

Debbie Lindley, Sally Gunnell and Tony Blair (well sort of).

John Major - Former PM, he came to visit my school about 10yrs ago
Iain Duncan Smith - former leader of Conservative Party, same reason
The Queen - same reason
The Duke of York - same reason
You either go to Eton, go to a school near Parliment and Buckingham palace or you go to a failiong central London comprehensive school.

I've met a few Rugby players, when I say met I mean a passing acknowledgement of 'I know who you are!'.

Anika Rice (Years and years ago, just incase you didn't know, she's not a rugby player)
Adam Jones
Duncan Jones
Shane Williams
Gavin Henson
Jonathon Thomas
Brent Cockbain (He walked into the KFC by the stadium, he went straight to the toilet and walked straiht back out again after!)

I've probably walked past a few Swansea City FC player aswell, but I wouldn't recognise them even if they pitched me in the face. Well except Trundle, but he's like our version of Rooney.

I also play rugby alongside Mike Ruddock's (Former Welsh Coach) son in college.

As you can see, the only celebrities you get in my are are rugby players.

I've never met/seen any celebrities in public before myself, but my parents saw Quinton Tarentino in the lobby of a hotel in Austin a couple of years ago.

At Wimbledon 2006:
I've seen Maria Sharapova and Roger Federer. But I didn't speak to them 'cos I would've been kicked out. Though I did manage to say 'Good match' to Anastasia Myskina after he beat Jelena Jankovic. Jankovic seemed pretty pissed off at the umpire though.

I met Toni Kukoc and Gordan Giricek, accidentally bumped into Zvonimir Boban(it was like "Ugh,sorry!" and then"OMGZOMGWTFBBQ U R ZVONIMIR BOBAN ZOMGZOMGZOMG!!!!!",and met some local celebrities.

Funny thing about Giricek-I met him before he wen't to NBA,he used to play 1-on-1 on my junior high's basketball court.I have his autograph,is it worth anything? :$$$: :)

Ugh,almost forgot-Janica Kostelic.(Skiing,anyone?)

The Stig, he needed an advice after the accident with the CCX( yeah I know, that joke sucks).
Just kidding, I've never any celebrity, I just saw a rally driver from Skoda in 2002 or something, I don't remember his name. I've met local celebrities, but that doesn't count.

Meeting includes speaking, not just viewing or hand-slapping as they pass a fence or walk by. As a sports-car racing fan, I've met and gotten autographs from Mario Andretti, Derek Bell, Dan Gurney, Fangio II (while he drove Toyotas for Gurney), Brian Redman (who is great fun!) among others. I met Bob Varsha (U.S. Speed TV commentator for you foreigners) at Road Atlanta during the 1993 Trans-Am weekend, and at Daytona, spoke briefly with David Hobbs and Dave Despain as they were setting up in the grandstands during a 24-hour race (no time for autographs.)

Musically, I've met Kenny Rogers, James Taylor, and (uh-oh) Barry Manilow. Had a backstage snack and conversation with a group of people that included Barbara Mandrell and her concert performers. Barbara, if I may take the liberty of using her first name, is not much taller than DeVito.

I've met Kenny Bernstein. Quick chat and autograph was all, but still pretty cool 👍

When my sister was in Denmark earlier this year, she met Bill Clinton.

No, but not a bad ball player. I think I've posted this before, but I've met few players. Shawn Kemp, Jermaine O'Neal, Antonio Harvey, Kevin Duckworth. I think that's all the players. And Steve Patterson, Blazers President.

I've also briefly met or shaken hands with Gem Archer(Oasis Guitarist), Benicio Del Toro, Tommy Lee Jones.

Elisha Cuthbert, seriously. She is from Calgary. we met in a club my dads friend owns. So we were both VIPs :D

we sat at the same table and I got to dance with her for a bit.... ;)

Booooooooo . I assume "with her" means you two were dancing in the same postal code :sly:.

Basketball: One day, during sophomore year, I guess Jamal Crawford (who played for the Chicago Bulls at the time--I have no idea where he is now) was hanging out in our floor lounge with some of his friends who lived there. I don't much care for basketball, but my roommate was a huge B-ball fan, so he went out there, met him, and came back really excited. Also, Nate Robinson (New York Knicks) lived a couple floors above me freshman year, though I never met him.

I don't actually know Gavin (or Gav as i like to call him) ;)
You rotten swine, you... so you did just get his name off the BBC website after all :ouch: You had me fooled 👍

I have also met Noel Edmonds (TV Presenter and Quantum Physicist), Richard Dawkins (Evolutionary Biologist), Michael Nyman (Composer), Stanley Prusiner (Nobel Prize winner), Hugo Weaving (Actor), Steve Albini (Musician/Producer) and David Murray (Businessman and owner of Rangers FC)

Pat Sharp.
 They don't make mullets like that any more!

I know John Thompson, he lives around the corner from me. I've had a pint or two with him before in the Met.

Does the back of Bob Geldof's head count?

I didn't go up, but I know someone in my class asked him to fill out his Geography questionnaire...

Oh, and shame of all shames, Toyah Wilcox... I have her signature somewhere. She was in some panto and signed my guide thing.

Today I met David Hasselhoff, he's in the office at the moment chatting up the ladies. He's even more vain than I thought.

Either you work for Pipex, or your company helped produce KITT. Am I right? :p

uma thurman (kill bill 1 and 2) in front of me and my family at the airport

Ludacris (rapper:crazy: and actor 2 fast 2 furious) he was at a convention i was at with my friend in new york

I've met Alice Cooper, Julius Erving (or more commonly known as Dr. J), and Brooks Wackerman (the drummer for Bad Religion), who is the son of my old middle school Jazz Band teacher.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and does the Vice-President of Samsung Electronics count? He flew down to my parent's company for a business contract, and I met him briefly. Doesn't really speak very good English though, and he brought a translator.

I've met Axl W. Rose and Robert Plant.

..not!

Seriously, I've never met anybody greater than Francesco Totti (football player), Vasco Rossi (italian rock band) and Pedro Martinez (baseball player)

That's it.

Ciao!

I didnt meet him, but i was like 15ft away from Dan Akroyd as he worked into the venue i was workign for (house of blues)
