What cities do you wish PD would have featured?

I forgot about Hong Kong. I would have liked to see the same Hong Kong track from GT4 or a new, longer track layout instead (night or day).

There is a great loop around a park in downtown Vancouver with hairpins and elevation changes all around.

Not a special town but an industrial area or something like this. Would be better than this stuffy offices and tourist areas like in GT5.
 
Cities:
Anchorage, Alaska
Fairbanks, Alaska

It would be fun to be able to race around Anchorage or Fairbanks on GT5 (with snow and ice on the road). Not too many hills, though.

Highway:
Starting point: Sterling Highway from Soldotna
Ending Point: New Seward Highway & Dimond Boulevard Overpass in Anchorage, AK

Reason: Lots of steep hills, tight corners, narrow roads, and general fun. There's also a 2-3 mile straight stretch of road that would be a nice top speed testing area. :)

I would love to see PD bring back Seattle, Paris and Hong Kong. However, if they bring back Seattle, they should completely redo the track. Many of the buildings have changed since GT2; The Kingdom has been gone since 2000.
 
I'd like Vancouver. They had an official track for F1 cars near downtown...

And Vcity would be really nice for city tracks to be honest.

Generally speaking, city circuits are slow, too flat and unchallenging when driving a touring car or better.

Having said that, it's a shame that there isn't a bit more co-operation between game companies. Codemasters have already done the work making the city circuits like Singapore.

Given the amount of Euro and Japanese touring cars in the game I'd like to see a track like Mt. Panorama, Bathurst or Spa. Both of those have a definite feel and really, this game is about racing, not looking at the pretty buildings as you drive past.

If you're going to put anything in the LA area into GT, it should be this. Southern CA's own version of the Nurburgring, 14.4mi, amazingly fun to drive at a safe pace, I can only imagine what it'd be like in the magic traffic-less world of GT.

Mt. Panorama and Bathurst are the same ;)

Adelaide and Surfers Paradise are great examples of beautiful and challenging city cursuits.

I know that. The comma is there to indicate that, as in Mt. Panorama, Bathurst, Australia.
 
I drove in Macao in a WTCC game and I must admit the city was pretty cool. Crazy hairpin, very narrow racetrack, kinda like it.

I would like to see the Detroit Belle Isle track where they used to hold the GP races. Or maybe hit the bridge and add some of the down town district in front of Joe Lewis and Cobo Hall. Also where is Surfers Paradise....!

Lots of gamers HATED this track for some reason. Personally, I enjoyed the scenery at Hong Kong but I don't really miss it in GT5.

I say bring back Rome Night from GT2! :dopey:

Bonn! Not only featured as one of the locations from the main menu (and Prologue), it's the former capital of Germany and, of course, my hometown. :D

No, seriously, a racetrack using both sides of Bonn, crossing the Rhine, would be cool. :)

I admit it's the same style but Macau is far more crazy then Monaco. At least it feel like that.
