What color to paint a GTR

The WRC Blue Mica though is a very nice colour, fits to many cars.

I used one of mine on my R8's rims.

Anyway I was traded one and its some dull yellow, with the same color rims.. God I love the car..

I know it's a Spec-V, but that's beside the point. It's still a GT-R
The GT-R looks perfect when you keep it stock on the outside without ricing it out with all that aero crap.

So a nice deep yellow metallic or pearl looks great on black rims and all the aero goodies.

GTR 's look good in about any color though.

Spec V dark red brown wine color is nice with chrome painted rims.

I'm starting at a real one right now where I work. Painted a dark metal gray with black rims. Looks sharp.....god are they gorgeous cars.

I know this is on an R34 but works just as well on the GTR, Top Secret Tuning style replica using a Nissan 280z colour "Gold Metallic" (I've done a few of these and they all look great! - Here's the gallery of them so far)

The easiest close colour match to get hold of is the previously mentioned Gold Poly from the Ferrari garage.

(EDIT: In my gallery is the GT Academy GTR, completely forgot about that!)

Though, I must admit, I'd paint almost everything in those colours.

Mine is lambo orange, with evergreen rims. it looks like it should be a Lamborghini off-cast.

Definitely Lambo Orange. With black Volk rims it'll look like the Zele GT-R. :-)

I'm trying to think of a colour the GT-R looks bad in, it's difficult though. My Spec V is MNP III with a set of alloys that were gold to begin with, I'm not sure which they are. It also has an unpainted CF bonnet, I had thought the three colours wouldn't really match, but, they do.

Plus I'm just really loving coloured wheels right now, I used to think only black or white (on a Honda Type R) looked good, but I have a set of Taiga Green Metallic wheels on my matte black AZ-1 that have convinced me otherwise.
