I just got it like at 3am....the red one!!...dam thing is fast. its my first FGT as well. I'm going to try and get 2 more.

and after seeing this thread a day or 2 ago, i set b-spec off on his merry way round the ring for another 24hrs lol

got the red one this time....

he'll be having another drive sometime during the week, on the hunt for the other 8 fgt's lol

I did some searching, and pics of the various F1 cars.
I have to say none of the colors are bad. I actually kind of like the white/purple that everyone seems to despise so much. The "Johne Deer" paint job is my least favorite, but even that's not that bad. My favorites are red, black/silver, orange, and white.

I got the Castrol one. Red and green on white. I always use the castrol rally cars and JGTC ones, so i'm lucky the F1 car went with the trend

It's not that I hate the look of the Purple/White one, but when you win it four times, in a row I might add, it gets rather irritating. Oh, my last race ended with another red making it my fourth, forgot I had three, not two.

Some might consider you both lucky. The white FGT car is the only one with the Mobil decals (front wing & trumpet hood). All the others (except the black one of course) have Castrol decals. Because of this unique difference, many seek the white one out over most others. As for the chance of getting one, it is no different from any of the other nine FGT prize cars that you can win... 10% chance.

Of course, that does not mean that you are guaranteed to get any specific FGT car after 10 wins because the chances don’t change with each race. The probability is higher that you will, but the odds are still just 1 in 10. For instance, it took me well over twenty wins before I finally got the white & blue FGT car.

BTW: The white FGT is also one of only four FGT cars that have the camo-like double markings running across the car just behind the cockpit.

The camo-like markings you refer to are actaully the Gran Turismo logo painted over the top of the car. If you looked at the car from directly above, you will see a a big silver "G T" painted on the F1.

That isn't possible... unless you bought it off someone else’s game save.

In order to get the black FGT car you need to have 100% game completion, which means you also already won the 24hr Nurb.. and one of the 10 different reg FGT cars.
